It does not matter when or where
I can feel it thumping
I could be here, I could be there
Still, it keeps on bumping
When the silence surrounds me
I feel the beat
Into my brain it is invading
I start to heat
I know the sound that I must hear
I rush to play the tune
It’s with my others, I have no fear
Yes; I will hear it soon
Cd placed with utmost care
Keeping it free from harm
Then my speakers start to blare
Waking like an alarm
My movements building as the song
The sounds flow through my veins
Thank god these songs are so damn long
I’ll dance ‘til I’m insane
But the music starts to end
The thump now growing calm
I’m not tired I pretend;
And another CD’s in my palm
