Light breakes through the heavy glass.
It's warmth weighs down on my face.
A light so warm and thick
fills me in a gentle inhale.
My body stirs, basking in his glorious light.
I subtly peek out of my warm haven.
I see nothing, but the realization
that this extrodinary light is blinding.
Squinting, I can make out dark silouettes.
Dark figures dance circles around me.
All it takes is a small quick movement
and they've touched me.
A sharp pain appears and dissolves in the light.
Again and again, i run into my lightless surroundings,
resulting in wounds and scars along my illuminated body.
I cannot stand still because
the warmth has taken over me,
Creating in me the desire to spread it
to those left in the cold night.
I dance and struggle in the spot light
where i find no applause.
Only pain finds me from the darkness,
but i cannot stop gracefully moving across the floor.
I will never stand still.
I will never exhale.
