So I am a female who has been using meth for quite awhile now. And everything that you look up about meth and sex in women says that meth causes an increased sex drive and risky sexual behaviors. However, when I personally use meth as a woman, the complete opposite happens. I have very low sexual desire, if at all... Has this ever happened to anyone else or has anyone heard of this happening to another woman?

Mind you, I never was someone who was interested in sex very much. In my teens and stuff I was never a sexual person. I don't even really feel like I need sex. Like I probably would never even have sex if it wasn't because I want to please my husband.... Is something wrong with me? Please help me!!!

No, there's nothing wrong with you. Not everyone is sexual. And others are, but in very atypical ways. Regardless, it's not unusual (for some) to not experience heightened libido on meth, so don't stress it.

I don't think that's a sign of anything wrong. Different people have different needs for sex. And comparing yourself to the meth- induced extremes of other people isn't really very healthy or realistic.
And honestly, although I do like sex quite a bit, I've never found any drugs to make me want it or enjoy it more. I just mean to say we all have our personal responses to things

Well as another woman who has also been using meth for a while now, I can say it's perfectly normal. I got the intense sex drive when I first started using but after time it wore off. Now it's pretty rare. I know plenty of women who don't get the increased sex drive. There's many reasons for it. I believe age, hormone levels, general health, weight, taking other drugs (psych meds especially) all have an effect on libedo, even if you weren't using meth. It's funny ED is a known side effect for men, but it's not really talked about with women.

Just for your partner, despite the fact you feel yon don t really need it.
That s nice towards your partner, deeply respect that. It does strengthen the bond
between couples, at least from a man s point of view. Scientifically one of
the rare times males produce Oxytocin, is by ao [making] love with their partner.
The bonding substance !

Seem s good you are very open about it, i assume to your partner too.
We didn t make ourselves, but my ex had about the same, but was a closed book.
That s more painful, not talking about/ acting as if all OK, while i did like to hug/ tug.
And missed it silently, but eventually split us. Talking would have helped.

Maybe it was the Tramadol she was put on, happened concurrent ?
Here lack of interest and start of that. Or Nursing our babies coupled with
untreated youth trauma. Bad-shit, i forgave her afterwords,
understanding it a bit.

Libido, when it was suppressed by med s i missed it.
By anti-epileptics btw, when stopped it came back.
Stimulants [i am prescribed d-Amphetamine] have no effect on my libido.
When of the med s being able again, it had already kinda lost interest in it,
i am single ! 50+ maybe.

🤙-> Respect in Hawaiian.

But with or without partner now seems my bottle-neck.
A warm body against you is like heavenly and essential.

Were you on hormonal birth control when you met your husband?

Sound like my friend, she says the same thing. Just kills the libido if she didn't just kill all her free time I'd ask why. Probably just feel like there's better ways to spend your time.

Me as a guy I have to edge while smoking or it just wouldn't be right
