Hey fellow bluelighters, I know that it is against the rules to explain drug synth to someone, but I was hoping you could settle an argument for me.

A friend of mine and I were discussing the various ways to cook (not that either of us do) and my friend made the assertion that Shake and Bake meth is the safest way to cook, as there is no flame involved. I pointed out that the chemicals can still react violently, but he maintains that the odds of such an occurrence are substantially lower than those of an open flame causing an explosion in a traditional lab.

I don't know that much about the subject, but shake and bake is extremely dangerous, correct?

TL;DR: Is Shake and Bake dangerous or not? How about in comparison to other methods?

shake and bake is done only by the biggest and truest of retards. second to running a meth lab...
don't get me wrong I like meth but making the shit is dangerous no matter what method. it's all flammable an the chemicals can react and explode in either method.
