I don't mean this to be a dick-sizing post, but I should start this off by saying that I have attained a very high tolerance to opiates. Mainly through easy access to OC and always just sniffing. Tried sniffing a dime bag of H once and didn't feel shit.
So far I've attempted to IV Dilaudid 4 times now. I have a respect or fear for intravenous injection, so I started low and worked my way up. My doses have been 4mg, 6mg, 9.2mg, and last night 12mg. NO RUSH each and every time. I still haven't experienced the hype. My elite BLer buddy Kell says it's because I dosed prior to the injection. But my girlfriend got a rush even on her second shot of the day (even after having sniffed plenty of OC throught the day).
I had eaten 200mg of MsContin earlier, and after the shot, I felt almost nothing. But after sniffing 40mg of OC i as basking in the glow of opiate heaven. I'm pretty sure that 12mg of hydromorphone is a hefty dose?
Well, I guess I'm never going to experience what the rush is like, since my pharmie connection is gone. Maybe after I go opiate free for a few months and i rid myself of this horrible tolerance. But I'd like an explanation of why there's no rush if there's prior administration. The 200mg of MS was just maintanence. I was barely high.
 
Damn cuz your tolerance is insane. Must coast you a fortune. I'd get a fucking blood transfusion a chill out for a while and get that fucking tolerance back to greenlighter status. Good luck...

HAHA!!.. Yes. I do plan to chill out for a while. My pharmaceutical connect was a close friend, and we were obtaining scripts for insanely low prices. Allow me to make a few drool: OC80s=$2, OC40s=$1, OC20s=$0.50.. 2mg K-pins=$1, MS200s=$2, MS100=$1, One bottle of Roxanol=free, two 5-patch boxes of duragesics(.75mg and 1.0mg)=free, K4s=$1....
I'm assuming that a vast majority of BLer, especially ODers would have been tempted to put themselves in the same position as me if given such killer access. Thinking back on how much OC went up my nose, as opposed to in my wallet kinda makes me sick. But it's all over now. But I can look back on fond memories, and some physical sensation that can only be described as living poetry.
I have some current rehabbed(is that a word) friends telling me that I should check myself into NA. But my pro-drug convictions wouldn't mech well with their mindset. I firmly believe in PhreeX's outlook that addiction is based on the subjects willpower. Anyways, my parents have gone thru some horrible tragedies as of late, and the last thing I want them to know is that their son is a fucking drug addict. That would surely put my mom through a hell more scorching than the one she's living right now.

So BLers help me out. I'm curious as to why I never got that intense, euphoric rush that has been interesting me ever since I learned about it in DARE class. I know a lot of you are fans of the Big Bang. And I always thought that addicts are multi-addicted to the drug itself, the action of shooting, the rush, and simply knowing that they have some foreign chemical racing thru their veins. But these addicts shoot multiple times a day. Do they wait until their withdrawal sypmtoms are setting in to blast off for the second or thrid time? Cuz each time I tried it, I was defintely not dope sick. Maybe, just maybe I'll give it a go with street smack, but the idea of putting that in my arm is a little unappealing to me. But Kell seems pretty damn enthusiastic, and I trust her. She laughed at me when I called her elite, cuz she's a veteran needle jockey.
btw, how come whenever I start a post, it gets no more than 4 replies, and moderators never give any input? Is there a dislike for Ketamike that is unknown to me. Don't make me the next Duckbutt. Peace

Like i said, dillaudid seems to be dose sensitive, it took quite awhile before I found the right dosage, one extra mg makes me sick with an awful headache & one mg less & I'm just not high enough.
The rush thing-well really with opiates everyone seems to be different, like how some people really love methadone & get high off of it. I dont get a thing off methadone I think thats the general concensus in other drugs.
For *ME* if i have had a shot earlier in the day then I wont get a rush with the next shot, I know that this isnt the case for everyone, but also I am high off smack for 6-8 hours where others say that they're only high for 2 hours.
So keep on experimenting, you'll get there....but not too much, ya hear?

There are rehab programs other than NA. If you believe in the shit they make you say great but if you are selling out to get off drugs it might not be worth it. However, if you actually want to get off OCs go for methadone maintenence this is certainly a differnt attitude and I don't believe they make you swear to stupid shit.
How much of a rush do you get with other opiates. I have shot heroin with friends several times full on nodding out high dose experience yet despite the successfull IV injection no rush. It has always felt like 3-4 minutes of slowly building pressure/pleasure. Maybe that is what other people mean but im not a big fan.
Never having tried dillys I can't really help you. Do you get a rush when you shoot enough heroin or oxy?
 
The methadone progarme???
In my not so humble opinion, the methadone programe is for people that are junkies & only junkies, i'm talking about people that whore themselves for drugs, do stupid crimes for drugs, would rip off their best friends & families for drugs.
I know so many people on the programe & yes for some it has saved their lives & for that i'm very greatful, but methadone is a whole lot harder than H to kick & is not to be taken lightly.
So for someone in Ketamikes position I think that to sugest he goes on the methadone programe is terrible advice.
Methadone is a last resort!! Chances of you actually comming off of it are slim.
 
d00d, if you're taking 200mg morphine for "maintanence" I think that sheads a little light on your problem - man you got a tollerance to end all ..
Dilaudid is also a drug that doesn't rub everyone the same way - for me, 4mg has me blasted into space, but some people simply don't get off on it the same - you may be one of those people..
So I would save the Dilly's you have left until you got yer tollerance back under control...
And IMO methadone isn't as evil as people make it out to be - but personally I think you should TRY quitting without anything like that... you can do it, yer strong!
Sure sucks yer girl quit taking shit.. if I were you I would firmly place my hands around her throat and choke her until she passes out.. when she is on the floor take a knife and make a few light cuts across her face - not to maim but just enough to scar her up.. show her how greatfull you are she decided to stop ganking shit from the pharmacy for you!
 
Your tolerance is way high...I've noticed that Bumping some H for the first time during the day is way more euphoric than the times after...
I can eat 25 mg's of lorcet and be zooming for a couple hours, but if I eat another 25 a couple hours later it won't give me the same euphoria...

A little update...
I took PhreeX's advice, well not totally. I got 'Pharm Girl' alone in my bedroom and choked her till she passed out. Gagged her and dragged her into the woods. I tied her to a tree and used a campfire and metal wire to brand the word 'PUSHER' into her torso. After that I threatened that if she told anybody it was me, I'd tell the world that she's a pharmaceutical kingpin... NAH. Everyone who knows me knows I could never do that shit. But the mind creates sick scenarios when you're uncomfortably learning how to live a life without chemical utopia.
