What got me most was the following part:


"I feel that failing to take action would reflect pretty poorly on us, actually. Worse yet, I fear that it would reflect poorly on the validity of the Work itself. I mean, if MDMA (for instance) genuinely helps to make us into better, more compassionate people, then how come we’re collectively failing to take care of even the most revered of our elders? Where is all the overwhelming love and the bottomless gratitude that psychedelic aficionados are always waxing so eloquent about?"


I hope there will be more people willing to give something back to the shulgins.

While I have used many a drug in the past from most of the drug classes, I used to be a pretty major fucking thief (+dealer) when i was an addict. But I always donated money to poor, less fortunate people, especially the poor guys lying in the street with no shoes and signs, with no voice playing guitar and trying to sing (a few times i dropped fifty dollar notes in their guitar boxes and revelled in their excitement), addicts that were desperate and scabbing money...if anyone ever asked me for a cigarette when i smoked i never said no. I used to give drugs and shout all my friends drinks.

Pretty much I liked to think of myself as a modern day Robin Hood.
