Had to make a new thread. Not sure where it goes but after countless searches, I could not find any regarding my topic. I've been on and off opiates for 2 years because of chronic pain. I always use to get euphoria from oxy. I would never abuse them, just take them as prescribed and would get a large amount of euphoria each time. Now, I get none. In fact, I feel sick. They give me headaches and nausea. No euphoria. I don't have a tolerance dud to a 6 month break. The pain came back and now I take 10mg per dose. Again, no euphoria. My instincts tell me its because my neurotransmitters are so use to opiates that my brain won't produce dopamine resulting in no euphoria. I also haven't been to the gym in ages and have been eating a poor diet. Could this also be the reason? The only things I do differently since noticing the loss in euphoria are as follows: I smoke cigarettes and chew. I smoke marijuana daily for pain. And again I am not working out like I used to. Could my dopamine and serotonin levels just be so low that I can't feel the euphoria from opiates? I also noticed that the nicotine makes the nausea and headaches worse. The opiates have also been making me feel anxiety. I take 10mg as perscribed and get paranoid that I'm going into cardiac arrest as they kick in. What thoughts does anyone have? How can I get the euphoria back and leave the anxiety behind?

So ask for hydro instead of oxy? I also usually will take oxy for 5 days each month then take the rest of the month off and smoke weed to prevent tolerance.
