ever feel like life is coming to a standstill?
try to keep floating but sitting next to impossible.
too stubborn to realize it's only for a short time
too stubborn to live
only to keep asking "why?"

body's telling you it wants to implode
from the lack of motivation in what you fail to realize is really your own creation

constantly playing kings and queens with yourself
hoping to find some deeper meanings
or maybe a crutch that will help.
stop thinking so much
..answers will be found through living

if i could compare it
life would be exactly like a leaf
floating down a stream of a gutter of a street
most of the time in this voyage
you're doin fine without a medic
but then you got those moments
where the sticks and stones wont let it be
eventually, this leaf has got to stop, got caught up somewhere
no one can say when
what mattered is what it did while it was floating in there
someone once said
the definition of over doesnt have to be the end
and believe you me
this leaf will float again.

i try to keep a positive outlook on life
smile every chance i get
push away the strife
somehow negativity always seems to find a way into me
but you see,
i know its all apart of this unique in itself movie
and im happy with the way it has to be.
