I've made my way to this site via search engines numerous times over the past few years. Oftentimes, I'm trying to verify a rumor, get info for a friend, or understand more about certain drug subjects for various reasons. I've always just read and lurked, but since I have found this site extremely helpful and think my experience may finally give me something to offer here, I thought I would finally register. So, hello! Thank you all for your help and advice the past years and I hope I can be a positive addition to this forum.
About my nickname, for over a decade I tended to work in office settings, starting while still in high school, and earned the name little one as the youngest of the bunch. Now well into my 30s, I tend to find myself more on the side of those that took me under their wings and guided me professionally while being my friends than I find myself being the youngin. This is the first forum I've joined in probably 6 or so years, so I thought it was time to admit I am lttleone no more. While I certainly don't tend to be the oldest, no one outside my small close group of friends, of which I am still the youngest female, calls me young anymore and when they call me little, they are only referring to clothing size, something I definitely don't want to be defined by!
The fact that I know about and use this site and employ or pass on any info from here is something I am in the closet about with everyone but my DH, and 2 friends who know only very little, so I prefer to stay fairly anonymous. This personality would not fit in the crowds I socialize with or my career field. It's nice to know there are others like me I can "talk" with. I know nothing is completely anonymous online, but it's still nice to have someone in or visiting my closet that doesn't know me IRL.
