no effects from 20 mg methylphenidate? possible?

a few hours ago i snorted two 10 mg generic ritalins and i don't think i felt any effects from it. is this possible or do you think they would have had to have been fake/something else to feel no effects at 20 mg?

First off, you should always check to see if the pill is legitimate or not, at least that is what i do. Second, depending on tolerance to stimulants, 20mg of methylphenidate wouldnt do much of anything. my first time i took 2 56mg concerta(ER formula) and was feeling the affects greatly. maybe try to up the dose a few pills next time?

i dont have a tolerance and yeah i know i should have looked up the pills but too late for that now.

generic meds in the US only have to have a min of 60 percent of the active ingredient and hardly will ever be a full 100 percent, you should take that into account.

@ The hated and perk. Where did you get that info? cuz the law is generic or not all pills have to have the same amount of the active ingredient. Its the inactive ingredients that are different. But only slightly.

Generic is required to contain the same amount of active ingredient as brand. I have read somewhere that it could be 90% but I don't remember how legit this source was so don't want to be quoted on that.

The majority of all methylphenidate drugs are generic. You'll barely ever find brand name as generic is so much cheaper.

As for your question, its possible to have snorted 20mg of methylphenidate and not have felt it. I would have suggested that you try a higher dose if you were to have asked ahead of time. Methylphenidate is a weak excuse of a stimulant. And you should have done a pill id ahead of time, always do this before taking a pill that you aren't certain of.
