No effect from IV cocaine

I just IV'ed some cocaine, and I'm pretty sure I did it right. I'm not used to IV'ing though so I may very well have screwed something up, but here's what I did. I mixed the cocaine with a certain amount of water, no idea how much, and then stirred it until it became this silver-ish translucent liquid. I drew that liquid up into the syringe and tied a cable tight around my upper arm. In went the needle in a vein in the crook of my left arm. I tried to do the flashback thing but I couldn't really control the needle so I just said to myself, "I'll know if I got in the vein from the burning sensation that comes when you inject without the needle being in a vein" and sure enough, no burning sensation. No lump afterwards either. When I pulled the needle out, a drop of blood appeared out of the puncture wound. It seems I did everything right, but I got no rush whatsoever, not even placebo. Could this be due to really low quality or did I screw up?
 
Unless you did so and neglected to mention it, you REALLY, REALLY need to filter your shot. Unless you're at a cocaine distribution plant in Medellin, what you are getting is probably quite stepped on and you're introduced a lot of shit into your veins that you don't want there. Please look in to purchasing some micron filters or at least use cotton or other easily accessible materials.

There is no way I could know what went wrong though so I apologize for not being able to answer your question. I have no idea how much you shot, how potent your product is or if you even have cocaine at all.

Please also look up what 'placebo effect' means - if you do receive a placebo effect, by definition you can not tell that you did.
 
I can only highlight what has already been said, you REALLY need to filter anything before putting it into your vein. That could have had some seriously negative effect by not filtering.

Presuming that you actually made it into the vein you either have been sold something as coke which is in fact bunk or you have such a tollerance that you didn't have enough. I am in no way here saying take more!
 
I DID filter it, I DO know what placebo means, and I WOULD like it if your answers would perhaps contain a part where you assume I didn't filter it and a part where you assume I DID filter it, that would save us so much time and be so much more helpful :-(

No tolerance and no need to highlight what has already been said as I my short term memory lasts more than the five seconds I took me to scroll down to the next answer in this thread... I'm sorry I seem mad; I just woke up and I always get a little aggressive when I'm on smack, making me less able to hide my disappointment. Please don't take it personally though.
 
You listed your procedure step by step and YOU left out a major harm reduction step on a harm reduction forum and you're going to bitch at us for demonstrating it's importance?

There's no way we can tell you why you didn't get stronger effects - all we can do is speculate and I don't see any harm reduction value. If you'd like to present the case of where there IS harm reduction value in us guessing why you didn't get high, please feel free to PM me :)
