Yeah I was looking through my great/grandfathers war stuff they gave me and I tought it would be a funny picture so y know. Oh and I finally found out how much this stuff is actually worth somthing to the tune of 5-7k, not couting the two pistols, uniforms, and paper money
 
SO this oe piece caught my eye its from WW1 and called a Croix de Guerre with Palme en bronze.

"During World War I, the Croix de Guerre was awarded for bravery to military personnel mentioned in dispatches. Recipients of the Légion d'Honneur and Médaille Militaire were automatically entitled to the Croix de Guerre. For subsequent acts of bravery, the recipient was awarded a bronze palm leaf for Army citations, a gold star for Corps citations, a silver star for Division citations or a bronze star for Brigade and Regimental citations"

Nothing special right, then I pulled out my greatgrandfathers Allied Victory Medal and on it he has 5 bronze stars from different places

Montdidier - Noyon
Aisne - Marne
St. Mihiel
Meuse - Argonne
Defensive Sector

All in France, also my grandpa toldme that greatgranpa was in France as a DOCTOR!!! So Im assuming that the French gave him one of these
