Bluelight Crew
Have you always wanted to moderate NMI? Now is your chance.
We need someone who is going to have some time to dedicate to moderating Bluelight. This will entail helping us introduce new Greenlighters, making sure that you help them understand the rules, help them know where to post questions they may have in other sub-forums, and overall have a friendly and positive attitude.
Most importantly, you will need to know about how Bluelight functions as a whole, and how most sub-forums function on their own. You should have a good understanding of the BLUA, you should know the most basic answers to most common questions new members of Bluelight will have, and you will also have to be able to know how to best serve the newest members of Bluelight as they sign up and post introductions.
Another integral part of being an NMI moderator is having a unique way to greet everyone who posts an introduction. Some users don't type a lot in their intros, whereas others type extensively. Based on what the user writes, you should be able to talk to them about something that is of interest to both of you.
Finally, we want someone who can keep things interesting and fresh. What ideas do you have for NMI as a sub-forum? Do you enjoy the activities that go on in the NMI Social, as well as other threads designated for games? We want someone who can carry on a happy, positive attitude, who is also a team player at the same time. We also need this team player to have their own innovative ideas.
If this sounds like the job for you, then please send your application to:

This is a limited time offer, of course; eventually we will stop accepting applications and will have to announce a new moderator. So, don't take too long to write your application. If this is something you want to do, send in your application as soon as you can.
Stay tuned and most importantly, enjoy Bluelight!
Just as a reminder, the deadline is Thursday, March 17th, 2011. You must have it turned in by noon, EST. This means if you live in a different time zone, you will need to figure out what this translates to in your part of the world. This website should help.
This would be 9 AM if you lived in the PST time zone (California / west cost of the US).
This would be 3 AM if you lived in Sydney, Australia.
This would be 2 AM if you lived in Tokyo, Japan.
This would be 1 AM if you lived in Perth, Australia.
....and so on.
