Nitrous oxide jaw pain

I just inhaled a ballon of nitrous oxide and now my jaw hurts and the top of my head feels "stiff" in one spot. Why is this?
EDIT: Oh and this is my first time using it, i inhaled the whole ballon and held it in until i almost passed out, right after i got no hallucinations, but i felt euphoria and out of my body. I didnt laugh.
So why exactly didnt i laugh or hallucinate?

Please don't bump your own threads. It's hard (read: impossible) for us to tell you why you're having this effect from the nitrous.

Use nitrous enough and I think you'll find all kinds of joint pains. Take B12 supplements and rest.
