(I know, N2O?, lame trip report. right? Well, I just wanted to share, because it was these kind of glowing responces that convinced me, an non inhalent user, to try it out...)

After buying balloons, 20 charges, and a whipped cream dispenser I came home and sat down in my bean bag chair. (Music playing at the time: mc chris)
I loaded two charges into the dispenser and after much fumbling I found a way to hold the balloon so no gas would escape. I inflated the balloons and took several deep breaths, then I completely exhaled and breathed in the balloon. I continued breathing in and out into the balloon. After a few seconds tunnel vision threatened to completely obscure my sight. Then I felt the head rush =D=D=D accompanied by a numbness in my hands and feet that spread to my arms and lower legs.
I had to close my eyes as the “WAWAWAWA” grew so loud I couldn’t hear the music. I also noticed that my hand began to twitch (is this normal?).
Soon I started to come down and I could hear the music again. I wish I could have seen my face at that moment, I’m sure my expression was hilarious :D. The sudden and intense nature of the whole experience was quite unexpected and a little surprising. I sat there stunned and said out loud, to no one, “Holy shit!”
Just then the music came to a funny part and I burst out laughing. Then I started laughing at how funny I found the music (you know that cycle with shrooms where you laugh at your laughing?). The euphoria was a silly, fun high that lasted for about 2 minutes, maybe less.

I can’t wait to combine this with DXM and mushrooms…
Have I become the next N2O convert? All I can say is: wawawawawawawawawa!
=D=D=D=D

Edit: I now have (in the week since this was writen) become a regular user ;)

nitrous will destroy your brain. be careful.

EDIT : Wrongo! please only type things you can back with evidence.

N2O will however cause a Vitamin B12 deficit in extremely heavy use

But do be careful, it can be addictive!

^ wtf are you talking about? where is your backing evidence?

Olney's Lesions: there is little to no evidence that Nitrous Oxide use causes the brain lesions described in William White's "This is your Brain on Dissociatives" and, without further evidence, this hypothesis should be considered invalid for Nitrous Oxide.

Nitrous oxide has been safely used as a mild anesthetic for over 150 years. Problems with its use come primarily from carelessness. Potential problems include :

* Brain injury and suffocation can result from lack of oxygen. When used as an anesthetic, nitrous is always administered in combination with oxygen. Never use nitrous in any manner that does not provide for adequate oxygen intake.
Translation: If you're stupid and try to live on N2O alone, you will die...

Make sure you take sufficient Vitamin B12 supplements (I recommend the sublingual formulations) when using nitrous.

My personal approach, is that nitrous is far more effective when used liberally and rapidly. Rather than holding nitrous in the lungs for an extended period of time or breathing back into the same balloon, the use of upto 10 16gm chargers in 2-3 minutes seems to elevate the user to a desirable but shortlived 'high'.

In combination with other drugs, I find that my judgement is often impaired and I have been knows to breathe pure nitrous for excessive periods of time - in one case for 5-6 minutes. This should obviously be avoided - in fact, regular nitrous use shouldn't be considered safe or consistantly enjoyable.

This is one common drug I've never done, but everyone always makes it sound fun.

Do you feel good when you use it? Any sort of body high or anything? Do headshops carry them still?

The first time i had "nang" was in raindance in londons seone nightclub... sadly banned now because of the same old story of 1 arsehole fucks it up for the rest of us. i quote

"The most common dangers from nitrous are due to its disorienting effects and the silliness that surrounds something called laughing gas. Tripping, falling or tipping over in a chair are very common. In one recorded case this caused death. The main cause of death from nitrous seems to be asphyxiation from a bag over the head. Frost bite from the very cold gas is also a concern, especially if dispensing when still disoriented"

It was the most insane experience of my life. Like the dj seen me with the balloon and played a specific piece of music to help disorientate me.......

Thing is....they call it hippy crack for a reason... i know a few bluelighters who are really uspet over the banning order as it was there drug of choice at raves

N20 To Psychedelics is like Babies to breast milk!
They belong together.

I alway have liked this combo, especially during the peek of most psychedelic experiences iv had in my past.
I suggest one should not be standing up when using N20, you could fall down.

Nitrous is amazing, even on its on it is pretty intense but it definitley needs a psychedelic to go with it.

also, fuck the "evidence," i think it can be safely said that it is not good for you.
hippy crack is a perfect term for it

am i the only one who would never combine nitrous with a psychedelic? it fucks up the trip for me. suire, it's incredible for two minutes but when i come down off the nitrous the trip always takes a turn for the worse.

Either/or. Sometimes it resets me, sometimes it leaves me feeling dirty and druggie-ish. Usually the latter....:| I do enjoy it combined with DMT though.

I'd only agree to the extent that not inhaling oxygen for several minutes is inherently intense. Nitrous on its own = a few minutes of fun and then a desire to consume every cracker you have in the next half hour.

your a nang fiend now! :)

one of us! one of us!
one of us! one of us!
