Does anyone have any information about binding/activity for 4- and 5- nitrogenated tryptamines?

Well, does/can anyone know/guess if there'd be any obvious hazard in the consumption of a compound such as 5-N-DMT? I have access to a small amount of 5-N-DMT and I don't know where to start, or whether I should.

I'm assuming the 5-N-DMT you mean 5-nitro-DMT?

oh oh the things i would do to get my hands on a dose or two of 4-somethinglegal-DMT (DMT part emphasized lol..)
 
5-Amino-DMT:Hmm,a quasi 1,4 Diamino aromate,doesen't look very healthy.And in the end its a triamin,might have difficulty going through BBB,maybe even more so than Bufotenin.

Surely the most interesting unassaysed DMT derivate.Long term consequences of these electronrich anilines is another issue.
 
^^ 4-MeO-DMT is on there as well. Hmm, so many potentially great DMT analogs just waiting to be made out there.. ahh.. (sorry, i am a DMT addict, anything-DMT, i'll take it!)

Oh, something I just thought of, DON is active, Shulgin mentions not knowing about DOA but I heard from a friend DOA was made/tested and found to be inactive. But really who knows, ya know, that friend of a friend who knew a guy who ate DOA or something kinda stuff :).
 
Dead on arrival.Not surprised DOA isn't active.I know of cases of diamines going through the BBB,but its difficult .
 
Well for things like n,n-DMT, it shows greater affinity for serotonin receptors than serotonin does. As for 5Meo-DMT, it's quite speedy but definitely recognizable as a tryptamine. Most people don't even mess with it. No visions to speak of, just speedy. But, since someone nixed all the suppliers, even if you are not into the visions, it's pretty hard to find. DOx series are amphetamines, not to be confused with tryptamines. And, there was quite a bit of blotter flying around previously that was laden with DOx substances.
Pretty unethical, but I can understand. Too harsh of penalties for manufacturing lysergic.

Methinks someone didnt get real 5-MeO-DMT... or no where near enough of it.

5-Methoxy DMT is the closest thing to being suddenly ripped out of this universe I've ever come across (I tend to think of it's onset as being a bit like the 'transporters' in Star Trek). 'Just speedy' to describe in total the effects of 5-methoxy DMT is on a par with calling a nuclear detonation 'a bit noisy'!

The after-effects of using it (like 20-30 mins after) can be a bit speedy in feeling, but the preceeding 20 mins are like nothing you're ever likely to come across otherwise
 
Wow, never thought of that...but the first few second before the flash of 5-MeO-DMT is a bit like the transporters in Star Treak!

Can't imagine someone claiming 5-MeO-DMT produces no visions and is just speedy. This is not the 5-MeO-DMT I know of.

After-effects for me were rather relaxing and tranquil. Nothing even remotely speedy.

Before it was banned all i heard was negative feedback inclusive of 5-MeO, AMT and 5-MeO-AMT.

It seems that now these compounds are illegal they are all the rage!

First of all, 5-MeO-DMT isn't illegal yet, nor is 5-MeO-AMT. And I'm surprised you've never heard anything good said about 5-MEO-DMT in particular. If I were to listen to MGS, for example, I'd consider it to be the holy grail of psychedelics. And AMT has quite a lot of positive reviews as well, more than most exotic psychedelic chemicals I've read about.

5-MeO-AMT, on the other hand, does indeed suck, in my experience.
