Nitrazepam Question

how recreational is nitrazepam? as i hear very mixed reports on this drug.8)

i have quite a few,infact there 5mg tabs,i had 20 x 5mg tabs one night last week with very little effect and with them being predominently hypnotic i would of expected some tiredness.

what other drugs/benzos are they good to mix with?

I love nitrazepam. Plenty of experience with it and after temazepam, it is my 2nd favorite benzo.
I found it to be euphoric, sedating, and very relaxing. I rank it above flunitrazepam -- i found it to be more sedating and just better all around.
It's very hypnotic and in my experience the only benzo i've done that was more hypnotic was triazolam. That says a lot about nitrazepam's sedative punch because i've tried a wide variety of hypnotics, including heavy duty ones like flunitrazepam, temazepam, midazolam, etc.
It's only downside is a noticeably strong sedative effect that carries on to the next day.
 
100mg of nitrazepam sounds like a really high dose - blackout, doing-stupid-shit, passing out -kinda dose.

Personally it's among my favorite benzos, I'd say probably the 3rd best after alprazolam and clonazepam. It lasts pretty long, is pretty sedating and hypnotic (beats the shit out of temazepam at half the equivalent dose), although if you're using it for genuine insomnia you may be a little groggy the next morning.

Any benzos essentially mix well together. If you're taking 20x5mg then don't mix with anything, but take less nitrazepam and combine with SMALL amounts of alcohol or opioids, and that should be quite nice.
 
100mg is insane, 20mg knocked me right out a few hours after smoking a high dose of meth, and 10mg will knock me out sober.

Anyway I've never found benzos recreational by themselves, so I can't comment. A low dose does go quite nicely with opiates though.
 
Subjectively, I also dislike Nitraz.

However, for a non-tolerant person, 100mg is a gigantic dose. This may be a case of generic pills that contain little to no drugs. I ran into that variety when I bought Diaz. in Thailand. The pills practically had nothing in them.

Yup, happened to me as well - it was hit and miss. Some were definitely the real deal, while others didn't even work on placebo (although it must be said if you take what you assume is 10mg of alprazolam, you must have a good imagination to get a placebo feeling comparable to it).

I've found that nitrazepam is among the ones that makes you more "fucked up" like alprazolam; that is, you black out and do really stupid shit, instead of just blacking out and being mellow. The violent, wake-up-in-jail kind. This is not necessarily a bad property if you can moderate, since sometimes it's nice to have benzos you can clearly feel for a change, but we all know how hard moderation is with benzos. I won't take nitrazepam at equivalent doses to many other benzos, because I find it that much more powerful.

Bottom line - long-lasting, very sedating, quite euphoric for me, and one of the strongest (ie. line it up with equivalent doses of most other benzos and nitrazepam will win for me). Also, it's the most powerful hypnotic benzo I've had, much more so than temazepam or oral midazolam.
 
tried it first time yesterday after some good pills.. no come down, felt perfect alll day but veryy tired and almost feel asleep after 2 beers so i stopped drinking lol this wsa only 5mg but i was on some valium too.. i dont have a huge tolerance to benzos
 
Monday, I picked up my refill for 30x5mg nitrazepam. By Tuesday evening they were gone. I am sure I ate at least 120mg on Monday - surprisingly, my memory seems to serve quite well, although my girlfriend (who didn't know I'd eaten such ridiculous amounts) got quite suspicious about my behaviour.
Very fiendish. Not to be done again.
 
If 100mg didn't work for you, leave it alone.

I also found it rather weak. With Temazepam (also fairly weak.. but nice) 40-60mg will do the trick nicely, 20-30mg of Diazepam is good, but I just didn't really feel much from quite a bit of Nitrazepam :\
 
Strange how divided this is among people. 100mg diazepam is a completely ordinary dose for me; I may be a bit slurred and forget bits here and there, be a little tired, but that's about it. Same with temazepam, 200mg isn't THAT big of a deal.

100mg nitrazepam fucking floors me with its sedative power. I would compare, approximately, 10mg nitrazepam to about 30-40mg temazepam and 40-50 of diazepam. For some reason, this is one benzo that is very powerful in my system for some reason. And I quite like it.=D
