Nintendo Wii

bluelight tournaments here we come.

i hope they create patchs to allow wii sports to play online.
 
Like all "new" nintendo products...it's really just old, made to look new. Good example of this is how many gameboys they have, now the DS which is just a handheld N64. This does not even include the same old games they have.

Everything the WII can do, can be done with a computer. Other then the senseless motion censors, even then im sure you will be able to find some product that emulates it.

All in all, if you like the illusion of new and want to get ripped off, go for it.

Yes, that's why its dominating the market.

Everything the Wii can do can be done on the computer except the remote, and well..the games. The same could be said for any console. Get a big enough gfx card and a big enough processor and you can play ps3 games on your computer!

The reason the Wii is so big is because Nintendo is known for its incredible gameplay, and the controller is totally different from anything else.

Resident Evil 4 coming out soon! July 14 (US) July 24 (EU) - I believe don't quote me.
 
the sequel to the excellent horror thriller "manhunt" is about to be release, and according to ign.com the wii version is the ultimate one. finally the wiimote can be used for swinging an axe at someone's head!
 
Nintendo is ingenious. Instead of marketing next gen graphics, they're marketing gameplay. Let the two giants miscrosoft and sony battle with one another til one is dead, while nintendo steadily gets stronger cus of no competition. And to boot, they can have games that normally only works for the PC.

Oh by the way, sony is going down.

manhunt 2 is going to be edited down to an M rating and put out to HUGE fanfare. its probably the best thing that could have happened from a marketing/economics perspective.

from a free speech/art perspective it sucks ass.

Because of its AO [Adults-Only] rating neither the Wii or the PS3 will play it, Microsoft has also said that it wouldn't play Manhunt 2. The British rating board refused to rate it because it was too gory so it does not receive a rating and will not be playable on any consoles.
 
fuck! dude at the game store last night said that every country has given it an ao rating meaning that no sane store will stock it, so the take 2 or whoever is producing it has pulled it completely and are assessing their options.


its a fuckin GAME people!
 
amazing how saw 3 or turistas or hostel can do the same shit and only be rated R, and be out in the movie theaters and sold in the same stores that videogames get sold in... but this game will ruin western civilization if it is released.
