dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi 2 has quickly become one of the most addictive games of the past several years. I can't get enough of this! I'll probably beat the challenges and tournaments with every character before even looking at furthering my wii sports, zelda or red steel progress.

and this game has over 100 characters
 
It really is a ridiculous bit of fun.

I think my favorite part is the in-battle transformations and fusions - it truly opens up a world of strategy and whup-ass to anyone that's not expecting it. I mean - Great Saiyaman to SSJ2 Gohan? No one sees it!
 
sweeeeet. i haven't even made it that far.

remember MAXBLOTTOTHEOCKER or however it was spelt? That guy finished the story 100% in a week!

he'd go to bed with the wife, and as soon as she's asleep, get up and play for several hours!
 
A week? Ouch. I hope he works out regularly.

It took me a good bit to get 100%, myself. Are you in cell saga or frieza saga right now?
 
passed cell saga. took a break from the story to hit the comps and challenges.
 
Ah, the challenges and the comps. I kinda hated those. It help if you get further along in the story to pick up SSJ3 Goku - a lot!
 
I'm sure it does. I beat the comp all on expert. Still got to do master.
Slowly going through the challenges on easy at the moment. I haven't even seen half of them yet!

The movie sagas are annoying cuz the storys are mainly crap (all except future trunks and goku's dad). But the main story line kicks so much arse. Made me imagine a genuine attempt to translate to film. Imagnie lord of the rings, only dragon ball.
they could so do a trilogy with sayan/frieza saga, android/cell saga and then with buu saga, intercut with quick glimpses and flashbacks of red ribbon army and piccolo sagas.
 
They'd have to do it exactly right - not that crap script that was circulating around the internet a year or two back.

And as for the movie scripts - the only one I really had a problem with was Hirudegarn. Because you just fought the most difficult giant in DBZ seven times in a row. At least the other ones had a tiny bit of variety.
