I like to use mapacho containing snuffs occasionally, they are made with mapacho (nicotiana rustica which contains 17 times as much nicotine as regular tobacco) and other alkaline plant matter which make the alkaloids absorb better (as well as add additional alkaloids). The best way to take them is to get someone to blow it into your nose with a tube. It produces a serene, meditative state in which your mind is really clear. I ran out of it though, and don't feel like ordering more for a while.

I'm looking for an alternative way to induce these relaxing effects. I don't smoke tobacco and find the smell repulsive so I'm not gonna do that. I'm thinking nicotine patches and/or e-cigarettes. One thing that makes mapacho and tobacco effective is they also contain MAOI alkaloids, so pure nicotine isn't gonna give the same effects but I'm gonna give it a try anyway. I got a 14mg/mL e-cigarette and I get very mild effects from it, but I'd say if I horse about 0.1mg into me, I should get decent effects. Putting a few nicotine patches on me might do the same thing. Smoking a bit of syrian rue with it should increase the effects.

Has anyone here experimented with this?

You should give rape' a try. Amazonian shamans repeatedly administer it until they fall unconscious and have visions, thats how potent the stuff is.

Well nicotine is a nootropic to some extent (best when administered alone and not via a traditional cigarette) so the above beneficial experiences makes sense. The best method i found to administer it for this purpose was via the e cig where the dosage and duration can be controlled effectively.

You could go with inhalers (hate them myself), gum, chewing tobbaco, nasal inhalers, and snus, among many others. Oh, and e-cigs of course. Right now I'm using Jocky Club snuff; it's very mild on the sinus, with a subtle perfumed flavour. I use snuff for the intense nicotine hit, it's hardly good for you. Apparently, using the fresh uncured leaves is an extremely powerful nicotine high.
