I find it funny that when someone on here posts about getting their animals high they get flamed all to hell, but when Nicolas Cage does it it's just funny. I don't see anything wrong with getting animals high if they enjoy it, but I don't think I'd ever give an animal a hallucinogen because trips can go either way (bad or good). I did once know this guy who had a dog that liked tripping and ate the guy's (who was a drug dealer) mushrooms a few times. I also saw the dog once after it licked a portion of a sheet of acid, it didn't seem to be having a bad time, it mainly just walked around sniffing things and being very curious about everything. There was a fire there that the dog also found very interesting.
But yeah, giving hallucinogens to animals is not advisable. If you need to get an animal high, give it a drug that can't or is unlikely to give it a bad experience. I've only ever gotten animals stoned and I gave a cat bupe once after surgery. The cat hated the bupe so I only gave it one dose after the surgery and didn't use the rest of the stuff. I've met animals that clearly enjoyed the effects of weed, more dogs then cats. Most animals seem to like weed, but 2/3 of the animals in my house don't, and the third doesn't always enjoy it and is too fat anyway so I never give him any. I generally don't like to get animals high though, it feels weird to me. But I don't really see it as a moral problem so long as you don't get the animal high too often and it never expresses discontent about it.
Also, is it just my computer or did the video get taken down? The link led to a blank page on that website that says "page not found" for me.
