I'd love to see the Habs off the Flyers but I doubt it will happen.
Being god aweful for 4 straight years single-handedly saved the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I'm going to break your equation down...
-A lot of the starters on the Sharks won the gold medal in hockey with Canada, but unfortunately, their goaltender shit the bed for Russia.
-They have been a great team the last few years during the regular season. So were the Cavs, 2 years straight, and we all know how that went.
-Nobakov is playing well, while this one is true, we all know his track record in big games.
-Joe Thornton is an amazing player and team leader... typically... UNTIL the playoffs.
-There has only been one game in the series... which they lost and Thornton scored no points, registered 1 shot on goal, and had a plus/minus of -2. That kind of leadership doesn't win series'.
So... unfortunately, for you, I'm saying they have NO chance.
Sorry buddy!
