How legal is a legal drug when the domain in which it is legal to use becomes smaller and smaller? Will cigarettes eventually become legal only outdoors, and in private homes? Up to this point the legislation is being put in place to protect workers from passive smoking, and prevent possible class actions from industry workers. What about smoking being banned outdoors because of the cigarette litter? I wonder how far this line of legislation can go.Bracks U-turn on smoke bans

Hotels and Crown Casino may face smoking bans after an about-face by Premier Steve Bracks.
Mr Bracks has reversed his position on smoking in public venues, indicating he will now consider extending bans to hotels and gaming venues.

What happens when the government tries to protect smokers from themselves?
I've thought for a while now that it is illegal to use a mobile phone while driving, and it may not be a long stretch of the imagination to think that cigarette smoking and driving may become an outlawed combination.
Any interest/thoughts?
