News: Police fear they are losing drug battle

Feds and state police are lossing the battle.
The funniest part about VIC police losing the battle is they have to steal seized mephedrone to resell to the black market for toptoptop dollar just to get more resources.

Did that same person inform you that once, there was this guy who took lots of LSD, and, get this, thought he was a piece of fruit, and peeled his skin off!? Happened to my best mates aunties nephews sister.

Why sell Mephedrone? Going by that logic, why not sell Coke or Meth? More money in that.

Another reason the uk should give us our heroin back because if they dont this will be the drug of choice.

Once its in Victoria I am told it is legal due to the absence of analogue laws.
They can however, if suspected of capping the substance up to sell for people to eat, detain you and seize goods on grounds you are selling a derivative of an amphetamine-like substance, but they will not charge you. Its one of the only states its legal. And now these new VIC laws I really doubt it will be for long.

For me the price for crystal meth and 'base' meth has stayed stable for awhile. Crystal has almost doubled in price from when i first seen it around 2000. In 2005 decent cocaine was more expensive gram for gram than crystal in my area, last few years it went up again but i haven't noticed it fluctate recently, the quality atm tho is still very very good. Very clean too. Base has been same price for me for years. The police worked hard in their fight against mdma, and the gov did their best to give it as much bad publicity and dodgey facts to try to make xtc/mdma unpopular. the police were just doing their job but both the gov and police helped create a vaccume that was filled by methamphetamine. The european union's pressure on the netherlands also helped. Australia will always Have people taking drugs just like aussies will always drink alcohol. Sooner the gov realises its better to Have cleaner and safer drugs on the street than dirty dangerous drugs the better. They can keep drugs illegal, but maybe relaxing precursor laws or changing import laws. Something simular to canada's

Then why do people get their powder back if raided and confiscated by state cops?

What the??? You can be tried on state law.. Or federal law.. they both differ! As for the powder being given back, id doubt it :)

As long as you can synthesize meth from easily available ingredients, not including pseudoephedrine, they are not going to win. I've seen some interesting synthesis routes from dietary supplements and plastics... they are, of course, more difficult then the red, white and blue but can be done.

I find Police will always loose the battle no matter how much they try. They can put a dent into the market but never will eliminate the market as there will always be consumers and as long as we have those people there will always be people wanting to make big money off it. They should realize that they will never end it.

Instead the government should think about legalization or quality control. If booze and tobacco are more dangerous than illicit drugs then why are they still legal? It would benefit the government as they could tax it, quality control it to make it safer for everyone. Have legit companies manufacturing drugs rather than shading backyard chemists trying to cut it with harmful things to make a more profit.

Drug related crimes would drop as the prices would fall dramatically. Less work for the police and so forth. I know im only dreaming but in my point of view everyone would benefit from it. I saw a docu not long ago that i linked into my thread not long ago which was in the US and they were showing how they were selling weed to people who were prescribed it for medicinal purposes. Government makes tax on that as well and its all legit. Less people convicted for drug possesion thus lowering costs for prison maintenance which would leave more money to fund prevention for crimes such as murder, robberies and so forth.

All that black market money is diverted and ruins our economy without going into to much specifications. If it went to the government atleast their would be an improvement in our economy.
Wake up all u moron government and realize that we would all benefit from it. Theres always a solution fro everything. If u cant win it then compromise.

^it's posts like this that will get all plastic banned HAHA.

NEWS UPDATE: Due to new police concerns about the methamphetamine epidemic, customers must now provide ID when purchasing styrofoam cups and are limited to purchasing only ten styrofoam cups a month.

;)

Soon they will be fucking watching how many times u shit a day and how many breaths u take. Its pathetic. Im sure dating back hundreds of years ago life was much more relaxed and there was alot more freedom. Why cant we just enjoy life with moderation?
