I'm a well seasoned weed smoker, but I actually do prefer to some extent the highs from kronic. The pineapple express one did give me a pretty bad panic attack in a large dose (about ~7-8 cones, I like seeing how high I can get off of every weed I get, but the aminoalkylindole cannabinoids (which the cannabinoids in kronic most likely are) are for the most part full CB1 agonists, whereas THC is only a partial agonist, so they do need a little more respect than green), but the other ones are very pleasant, and have some distinct effects different from THC. The kronic blends also seem to be a good consistency, I've seen others that were full of twigs and shit.
It's so nice being able to choose what type of high you want, you just don't get the vastly interesting range of effects with different strains of weed as you do between these different blends. And they don't really make me tired like weed does, so I can be a lot more active and sociable while still being reeeeaaaally high.
Don't get me wrong, I love weed, but these synthetic blends are good in their own right. Just don't expect the munchies from any of them - that seems to be a property unique to THC and its relatives.
Edit: It's a lot cheaper buying it online, but it is awesome when you are out of green and you can just walk into a store and buy it hassle free, although the price hike in the store compared to online is a tad ridiculous.

^ It was definately a good consistency and it smoked smooth as, I found when I didn't mix it with any bud and/or tobacco it did leave a sweet, somewhat fruity, aftertaste in my mouth.

I found the pineapple express to be quite potent but a very empty high as well, it's probably the one that's got the smallest range of cannabinoid like effects - just purely a head-high, which is partly what encouraged me to go a little overboard as you don't really feel that baked, but once you analyze your thought process after a while you realize just how fucking high you are haha. The skunk blend is a lot less fluffier and denser so you get less, but fuck me does it get you stoned - I'd rate it as the strongest blend for putting you on your arse; I've never found weed that got me that baked yet kept me clear headed enough to function. The purple haze is a very happy, warm and chatty high, makes me even chattier than alcohol (without saying as much useless shit), also the fluffiest so you get the most for your money. The tropical explosion I find to be more potent than pineapple express, a much more complete high, but still primarily a head high. The original kronic blend is one of the worst synthetic blends I've tried, leaves me gasping for breath for about 5 minutes after having a cone and doesnt get me that baked at all so only good for raping your throat. Also full of pieces of wood and shit.
It's hit and miss with their products but it depends how each person individually reacts to whatever they spray the herbs with. I happen to really like to effects of a few, but I'd say don't judge them all based on one blend - they are qualitatively distinct.
