You remember the rookie idiot who demanded free donuts.

I was discussing something over at reddit and I wanted to link to the story, and google news wasn't producing any results, zero hits. WTF?

So some forums still have pages with the story transcribed into comment sections, but the links all go to a dead-page on news.com.au.

The fuckers have erased the story, like it never happened.

Okay, okay, it's not Stalin erasing images from photos, but I still don't like it. Fuck that, that incident really happened, and it was funny and sad.

I've tipped off Media Watch, maybe some of ya'll would like to email them as well? Give them a bit of a push.

I want to be able to link to that news story dammit.

First I heard of it.

Blame the Courier Mail in any case though. Some idiot did a full page spread a week or two back all about how the Po-Po get free feeds and which establishments do this for them. It also explained how they get free booze on occasion as well.

No doubt this expose opened some rookies eyes to something they may or may have not been privy too.

Anyway, sounds like a load of hogwash; would not be the first time media had silenced an issue.

When my ex was pregnant with my daughter I used to sing that song to her belly. The day she was born her mum was rushed through to ICU surgery and I picked up my crying daughter and sung that chorus. She instantly stoppped crying and cuddled into me. Even the nurse who saw it happen was blown away.

At work we have like a subscription to old news.com.au articles (includes Courier Mail and some others, all those syndicated ones I guess).

I think the articles drop off the website after like a week or something and after that you have to pay for them.
