Of course he'd say that. Yet I bet if answering in all honesty, he like any club owners would hate to see drugs disappear. Indeed it has been shown elsewhere that club survival or prosperity often is directly related to the drugs around or more specifically their quality.


I always remember the mixmag line regarding the club "re-blossoming" period of the first batches of mitsubishis.

Just when are we to see reform enabling honesty andsincerity to be demonstrated in simple, effective and practical policies?
 
you wouldn't have a scan or copy or something of that article would you pd? Or anyone else? I'm intrigued by it and keen to have a read :)
 
In answer to Secret Squirrel, there was no PMA found in any of the pills tested at Enchanted, but there has been at least one batch of pills tested in the last few months (by GCMS) by which was confirmed as being PMA.

IF a batch is found to have PMA< why cant the public know about it? its utter crap in my opinion.
 
Just as a side note, I am assuming that the club is an over 18's club and I am wondering why there has been no real comments made about why there were 4 underage girls in the club. If underage ppl are in a club, its not surprising that underage ppl will be sold drugs.

Edit: just read through that article that said the club may be losing its license due to the case involving 4 underagers. I'm glad to hear that.

Yeah, not being racist..... but i think the girls might of been asian, and how many of them look the same or similar.

The dude selling the drugs was on the front page of the advertiser was asian, and its pretty safe to bet eh was hanging with asians, so its not hard for them to borrow someone elses ID who is older.

As to why you can't know about batches when they are analysed, well, I personally ensure that information IS released, by whatever means I can. The details about the last batch was releasedat a major press conference and had extensive media coverage in newsprint and on TV. I can't be blamed if it's construed by users as a conspiracy to frighten them out of their democratic right to eat whatever poorly manufactured chemical they choose:\ Hell, its's a democracy, and I'll defend to my dying breath the right of individuals to use crap pills and GHB to fuel my extensive case series of illicit drug overdoses!!!=D
 
I have to say i believe it was the strength of the pill that caused those people to collapse, not the content. i'm from adelaide and i also heard that the pills they took were aliens, i also heard one of the 15 year old girls double dropped (sorry if that's wrong and i'm spreading rumors...). I've been browsing through all the threads and one of them...A/Archie/Lexus( i dont do this often so i dont know how to link!) comments on how strong the aliens are and even seasoned pill poppers are warning against double dropping them. i realise people like slippery have also commented on the strength of them in this thread. Add a 45 degree nightclub and not enough water... I dont know about others but i personally have had an experience when i first started dropping where i almost got taken to hospital because i was too off my head...my friends just happened to take me home first. i think the fact that they were released from hospital within hours backs this up. Ironic thing is that i wanted to find out what pills they had taken so as to stay away from them, but i've hangin out for weeks to try these aliens....
 
Sounds like Adelaide aint the place for quality ectascy and are subject to alot of dud x. If i was an s.a pill popper i'd be investing in an ez test. I think people are putting too much trust in their suppliers and accepting they are getting mdma when obviously they are not.
 
loxy, that's exactly what i reckon happened. the latest news article mentions overdosing on ecstacy, but from what drplatypus has kindly contributed, this does not appear to be the case at all.
 
Anyone who takes ecstasy more than a few times should get an EZ test for their own safety. I have one and another friend has one, all our friends know they can use them if they want to. We make sure all our friends are getting what they pay for and we try to minimize harm where we can. Testers are great for this but they are not a %100 gaurantee.

great, thanks for the info just curios what does GCMS stand for?

and more importantly what kind of pills had the PMA?
 
i know there are no excuses for risking my health and i know i need to get a tester but i've been slack, i'm also rarely dropping these days. i have to disagree though about adelaide getting dud pills...in this case (and i know i cant know without the pills bein tested) i really believe it wasnt the quality of the pill...everyone i know has bloody loved these ones...but come on, 2 15 year old girls...wouldnt take much. I wonder if they were drinkin as well? with the experience i mentioned earlier, i had been drinking...this is why i will never drink after i've dropped
 
For secrect squirrel and anyone else who might be interested GCMS refered to by dr platypus stands for Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer. A very powerful coupling of analylytical chemistry equipment.

In short, gas chromatography is a common analytical method used to seperate mixtures by vapourising a sample and passing it through a narrow column. Molecules having different affinities for the surface of the column (ie sticking to the surface)seperate as the mixture is forced through the column by an inert (unreactive) gas. The substances with the least affinity elute from the column first followed by molecules with increasing affinity for the column.

Different substances can be identified with the use of standard chemicals if a certain substance is being targeted and comparing the graphs from each run through the column. However if a broad range of constituents is to be analysed, pairing the technique of Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectroscopy provides a very fast and efficient method for quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Mass Spec. is attached to the eluent end of the column (gas out). At this point gaseous molecules are ionised and passed through a magnetic field. Ionising a molecule gives the molecule a charge (similar to a static charge) and a magnetic field will deflect charged particles passing through it. By taking the power of the magnetic field and the amount of deflection which occurs to the path of the molecule a graph can be developed showing the mass of each molecule and the relative abundance of it.

That really is just a brief introduction as there is a wonderful and exciting world to GCMS.

Indeed! Me too... I have the Aliens (blue) and also the A/V/Lexus's and am hanging to try them. I spoke to a mate in the scene in Adelaide yesterday and she insists they took Fantasy. Let's face it, everyone is going to know someone who knows someone etc who will claim to know the REAL TRUTH but at the end of the day, how do we know what to believe? I also think it is a little closed minded of people to insist that MDMA can do no harm. IT CAN... don't get me wrong, I love the stuff and will continue to take it but I am also aware that every time I do pop, I might drop. It's a risk (like most other things). Now, where are those little blue buggers.....????? :D

Thanks for the follow-up drplatypus. I have to say, I feel your recent contributions have lifted the board standard by a degree that's difficult to define. I guess it's knowing another well educated person working in fields related to HR, is now contributing with essential up-to-date, and more importantly, fact based information. It's all very much appreciated.
