Managing director John Pike yesterday defended his business in the wake of the overdoses, saying it had a "zero tolerance policy to drugs in the venue".
Of course he'd say that. Yet I bet if answering in all honesty, he like any club owners would hate to see drugs disappear. Indeed it has been shown elsewhere that club survival or prosperity often is directly related to the drugs around or more specifically their quality.
I always remember the mixmag line regarding the club "re-blossoming" period of the first batches of mitsubishis.
