Jabberwocky
Frumious Bandersnatch
So here’s a break down of my Rx list:
- Day -
Buspirone 10mg
Lamotrogine 150mg
Omeprazole 40mg
- Night -
Buspirone 10mg
Risperidone .5mg
Past Drug Use:
I have used LSD a ton in the last 2 years (not every week but closer to once a month to once every 2 months. There was a period where I went 6 months without tripping. I accidentally took an NBOME instead of LSD about 2 months ago. However I’ve been drinking alcohol almost every weekend since July 2020 (previously 14-16 shots 2-3 times per week and more recently 5-8 shots 1-2 times per weekend). I haven’t drank in almost 3 weeks now though.
General Question:
So I started on Risperidone about a week ago and so far I’ll get hot flashes about 20 minutes after taking it and now my perception of time is ridiculous. I’ve always had an anxiety based preoccupation with time, constantly feeling like one hour was equivalent to 15-20 minutes. Now it feels like time goes on forever. When I’m doing something I enjoy it’s great bc I feel like I have plenty of time to do absolutely whatever I want. But when I’m doing something monotonous or something I don’t want to do literally 10 minutes feels like 40-50. I still check the clock frequently because it’s an anxiety based habit but it is excruciating looking at the clock seeing only 5 minutes have gone by when it feels like 20. It’s similar to time dilation on LSD but instead it’s almost entirely upsetting. Is time dilation a side effect of Risperidone or do you think it’s probably just my body adjusting to limited/almost no drug use for a while? I guess it could be like withdrawal symptoms. I’m also nauseous most of the time, either super hungry or not hungry at all most times, I feel weak and tired, and I constantly want to sleep. I’m depressed, I already know that but god it seems like so much all at once. I’d like answers but it seems more like I’ll just have to ride everything out and hope for the best bc my drug use has been too much in the past.
