Hello! I am new to this online community and have a few urgent questions regarding Suboxone usage in the treatment of opiate withdrawal. I am not entirely sure what forum to post this on so I am hoping that this post isn't laughably out of place on this thread. If so, I apologize in advance. Down to business.
I have been battling heroin addiction for years and has once again started up an old habit. I have been slamming .2-.3 grams of black tar heroin for the past 5 months with the occasional methadone and Oxycodone sprinkled in. Recently I went to an inpatient detox center where I spent 8 painful days being reminded why heroin is no longer my friend. Then being the poster child for impulsive decisions that I am, I decided to ignore that latest hard earned reminder, and renew the friendship with heroin less than 12 hours after leaving detox. For the past 4 days I have been once again using .2-.3 grams of tar, but ever so smartly have upgraded this current trounce of relapse with the addition of 1.7 grams of meth smoked over the course of this 4 day period.
I wishe to get off of heroin again but this time in the privacy of my own home, and to do so as painlessly as possible. So, I acquired some Suboxone and was wondering with my current addiction model detailed above; what the approximate appropriate dose of Suboxone might be given the assumption that the heroin (and also meth, though I doubt that to be relevant) I was using is of a med-high grade quality? In essence I am looking for a chart that would in general, compare the quantity of heroin I used to the appropriate dose of Suboxone needed to survive comfortably given a med-high grade quality of heroin as a constant. My last dose of heroin was roughly 2 hours ago and I'm hoping that someone on this forum might be able to give an answer ASAP? I'm a little nervous and could definitely use the advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance...
Also, here is a general profile of for me in case that helps.
Age: 27
height: 5'8
weight: 175
Sex: Male
Ethnicity: Caucasian
Physical condition is considered healthy with no major medical complications
Thanks again
