I have used this website to look up a lot of things so I decided that I would finally join for my husband and I both so that we could get the full use out of this site. We have been married for 3 years now and between the two of us we have three beautiful children. Because we are older we don't have a child together but we each think of all of our children as our own that we had together. We each had a previous marriage that just didn't, obviously, work out. Some of the worst reasons ranging from ex-spouses cheating, being beat or wrongly accused of beating the ex, drug abuse and alcohol abuse. This is just to name a few things not that they are important now because to us the most important thing is that we have found each other and are very happy.

We both enjoy working in our yard and flower gardens, my husband loves riding dirt bikes and I love crafts especially designing and making jewelry (just wish I could find some place to sale it), crocheting and cross stitch.

I lost my job in 2010 and helped my husband with his own personal business until someone decided it would be funny to put dirt and sand in our gas tanks of his truck AND my car. Before we had realized what had happened we had driven his truck (of which he HAD to have to run his business) and the insurance company totaled his truck and so he lost his business as well. We no longer have ANY type of income coming into our household and are now facing losing everything including our house. I have NEVER EVER not had a job, I have always worked since I was 14 and now 3 years without a job is really hurting especially since we can't afford to buy another truck so my husband can start his business back again. I continue to pray every day that either one or both of us will find a job or jobs soon, like yesterday... LOL (I have to laugh or I would cry all the time)

We try to get to church every time they have it (Sunday's & Wednesday's) but without money it is hard to afford the gas to get there and I miss it when we can't go. Well enough about the sad stuff I just have to say that I am grateful for my family and my church family as well and for the few friends that we have (there aren't many because I have found that there aren't too many people you can REALLY trust any more).

Well that's my introduction, as great or sad as it may be. I am just another person that is trying to live the American dream that is turning into a nightmare.

your story sounds so familiar. i hope you find some answers here and that you get some relief. like you say, you have each other and that's the most important thing.

welcome to bluelight.
