Hey all. I have gotten great advice and learned a ton by reading these forums.

I'm a 30yr old east coast girl. Currently struggling with giving up the opiates. Went through opiate withdrawal and then used as soon as I felt better. Been using (pills) for one day and then off for two or three. The withdrawal on those days is not unbearable but it's like permanent discomfort and irritability, broken up when I take my poison. Why can't I just stop completely? I know I would feel better soon but I just can't seem to make it. Fuck.

Haven't used for two days but gonna use a small dose today just to feel good and get some stuff done. Then I'll be out of money for a few days again. This cycle is breaking me but I can't seem to break it. Getting desperate. Any advice?

Hi Welcome to BL,
I hear you I went through it, it's immensely difficult to just stop what one is dependent on physiologically.
The system relies on it to function; although, there are ways to stop that will ease the suffering. Please let me know if you have any questions or about the site. Here is the The Opioid Withdrawal Megathread and FAQ, if you are ever interested in taking a look.
