Hi, I'm new here and I have a quick question about using methadone. I'm a heavy opiate user, pretty high tolerance. I managed to wean down a little bit. I had a zubzolv from my brother in law so I took a half of one yesterday morning. I found 1 1/2 lortab this morning took those. My friend told me to take methadone for pain & withdrawal. I'm not going through withdrawal but I took 10mg an hour ago and don't feel anything. No relief from pain and I was kinda hoping for a little buzz. I have another one but I'm not sure if it will help. On an average day I can take 40mgs lortab at a time. Days that I take suboxone I take 1/2 at a time. Should I take the other?

The question "should I take more" is pretty vague.
I would work on tapering off; this is what I did and I'm glad I did it.
Do you suffer from chronic pain?I do suffer from chronic pain, I have fibromyalgia, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis. My tolerance is so high on my lortabs. I have a friend who gives me suboxone for when I run out of my script but he offered me a couple methadone pills to try. I wasn't going through withdrawal I was just looking for pain relief.
