Hey guys.

I've been lurking these forums since about 2000 (I was 13 at the time, and my hero was PhaseDancer!) but never really posted anything. Took a big break from studying this subject matter until I began uni again a couple of years ago.

Today I am a third year Neuroscience student and I'm really interested in learning a little more drug pharmacology and also drug policy (it could be useful for my legitimate research some day). Avid oneironaut, always have my nose in a good book, very interested in theories regarding different states of consciousness, both in terms of scientific realist neuroscience and its anti-realist counterparts. I don't see myself giving much advice, just asking lots of questions.

Any advice on good beginners' pharmacology discussion would be great!

Pretty cool how you remembered your username and password from all those years ago! I'm sure the crew in Neuroscience and Pharmacology discussion would love to talk with you, they're all very smart and respectful on that part of the site. :)

Cool. I am in my second year of school full time going into the medical/clerical Field. Also one of my classes includes pharmacology.

Checking out the neuro discussions as we speak. I've just seen Graham Hancock's Magicians of the Gods tour and am feeling rather inspired!

Actually I worked out it was 2001. I'm disappointed that I was away for so long though. Good to know it's still going strong :)
 
New username actually! I have had two previous ones for lurking purposes but alas, hot mail accounts died and I can't remember my passwords heh. This one's the newest :) Thank you for the welcome!

Hiya ixtab,
Glad you're settling into the site.

If you click this link - Bluelight Mobile you see that on the first post they have two links "Full site" and "Mobile Site," if you click the "Full Site" link it will take you to the full version on your mobile. You'll tend by able to use it like on your computer, using multi-touch to increase the size and what-not (if you have a touch-screen mobile).

Hope that helps. And don't worry about replying to us individually. We understand that you are new here and that things can seem daunting here at first, to new members.
