Who said anti-drug commercials had to be dull? This ad, featuring three spot-on Māori kids bragging about whose dad is the best “blazed” driver, was declared an “instant Advertising Hall of Fame Drugs PSA classic” by advertising blog Copyranter.

Made for the New Zealand Transport Agency by Oscar-nominated director Taika Waititi, “Blazed – Drug-Driving in Aotearoa” (Aotearoa is the Māori name for New Zealand) has been viewed more than 500,000 times on YouTube since it was first posted, on September 13.

See the propaganda ad at: http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/09/18/new-zealand-anti-drug-driving-ad-goes-viral/

You should hear how they talk in old Zealand. Look at this incomprehensible morass:

omg LOL everyone needs to watch. Im more of a "haha" type of guy, but seriously LOL.

I put this in the videos thread a couple of days ago, as it's not much of an article. Funny tho eh bro.

actually it's zeeland

and they talk like this:

There is a really great comment on the site.

Studies Show Marijuana Consumption Not Associated With Dangerous Driving, May Lead to Safer Drivers
May 21, 2013

Anyone who consumes cannabis on a regular basis knows that it doesn’t make you a dangerous driver. Many people find that it makes them a safer, more focused driver; one that’s more aware of their surroundings and the dangers associated with controlling tons of gasoline-filled metal. Not only has this been an anecdotal truth for as long as cars and cannabis have been paired, science has also been clear that consuming marijuana doesn’t make you a dangerous driver, and may make some people safer drivers. More research is needed, but it’s hard to deny that of the research we have, marijuana hasn’t been found to increase a person’s risk of an accident. To back this claim up, here’s a list of studies and research conducted on this very topic, some of which were funded by national governments in hopes of different results.

That girl pronounced fish and chips wrong.

Cool ad though, just like the drink driving one last year. Leeegend.

New Zealander's are pretty cool. With a few exceptions.

I don't know what's most retarded, the video or the comment below that says cannabis actually makes you a better driver. Lol.

Lol, as a swede I can read and understand that, it's not so different from our language. I doubt they talk like that in new zealand though?

Most of us don't talk like that - lol. Just in general communities, sometimes we do.
