New Years

Well, on the new years eve, right before the clock ticks 00:00, I think and say to myself - next time I'm getting even more wasted. I always fulfill that promise.
 
I rarely keep the resolutions I make for 'the new year', so I rarely make them anymore. When I want to do something, I do it--It doesn't need an arbitrary starting date.
 
I prefer NYE to Christmas, never managed to keep up a resolution though

Exactly. I make goals all the time, not just for New Years Eve.

Who doesn't? I thought Christmas was something every one pretended to enjoy for the sake of the children and NYE was when every one got so fucked up they forgot Christmas. Or is this not how it works?

na im usually too fucked up to think. im just reaching for the next drink or bong.

how can you 'carry out' your resolution in one day? isnt a new years resolution spose to be a resolution for the coming year ie 365 days til the same time and day the following year? :?

a new years resolution that only lasts a day is cheating or at least a waste of time?
 
I try to leave aside all serious thoughts on NYE, in my opinion it's best to just live the moment with your loved ones...there's plenty of time for everything else once I wake up.
