New Years Resolutions

well i havent won the lottery and ive cut down on my posting.

next years?

more travel
cut down on going out.

to try and patch things up with my family

Well on the road to playing happy families again.

get a proper job
Well kinda sorta not really. I hate what I'm doing now either way.

get my own apartment!
Unfortunately...no.

start going out again as much as I used to
If anything I've gone out to fewer clubs and events but much more drinking and quite a few more house parties. All in all I had a lot of fun.

This year...

- Start exercising.
- Quit smoking [that's the first time I've ever made that a resolution]
- Go back to uni.
- SAVE MONEY! [or spend it more wisely]

-Find a girlfriend
-Snowboard in both Southern and Northern Hemispheres
-Save money
-Be happier in general
-Complete my solo skydiving licence

Get into uni

both of these have already been confirmed so makes it easier for me yay for me!

I didn't make a resolution last year. Oh well. This year :

I plan to really start being ruthless about the products I buy. They have GOT to be australian owned and made, I really want to start supporting Australian Farmers more.

I also plan to STOP using plastic bags altogether, and remember to ALWAYS bring along a reusable calico bag.

That shouldn't be too hard

Oooh, good idea. I might just do that too. I keep forgetting to bring the shopping bags I bought into the supermarket and each time I do I end up using the plastic.

Also, (where possible) I am going to try and boycott companies that sell out their tech-support to 'comparatively' slave labour salary countries. Like India, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc... I have no problem buying a product if they are going to pay the foreign staff the same wages.

I think this is the closest i have ever been to keepin my new years resolution!! It was to try every available drug with the exception of reseach chemicals and I'm about half way there!! hmmm shame i only have like 2 weeks left. meh shmeh! its allll good.

Next years resolutions
1) Improve at uni (yeah right!!)
2) Get a passport
3) Learn to scratch!!
4) Move out of home!!

From last year:

- To start gigging seriously with my band and get our name out there and respected.
- To somehow badger my way into a communications degree instead of this infernal management degree.
- Find a wonderful, beautiful person with whom i can confidently share my world and all within it.
-Those, and becoming tri-lingual... but i have until i'm 25 to achieve that, so it's all good.

WHat i actually achieved:

- the band and i haven't been playing much recently, we did have a few gigs here and there, but uni got in the way for all of us...
- i decided to not transfer out of my degree, although i did have the marks to do so... i decided to stick to this path for now... only time will tell if that was the right thing to do or not...
- i did find a wonderful person to call my own... yay! :D
- I'm well on my way to becoming trilingual (straight distinctions in spanish this year! :D)
