New Year Revolutions

Do more drugs, eat less food..

And as every year passes, the exact opposite happens. The joys of real life..

Sort myself out, meet a nice girl(very very early days yet but this could be a reality soon :D), pray to -insert entity- that i dont get court pisstested in the next few months and yeah eat less shite and get in shape..standard really..

Stopping smoking was the best thing I did in 2012 - will be 9 months soon. Hubby stopped 11 weeks ago, is still on the champix.

I really would like to reduce my alcohol intake and socialise / get out more. Don't think those 2 things sit well together lol Will be returning to urbanisation in 2013 so no excuses not to!

My resolutions? Drink more water again, and take less painkillers. After getting surgery to lower my kneecap, about four months ago, I'm able to go without them almost completely, but I want to be at the stage where I won't ever need them.

Oh, and another resolution- build up the confidence again to actually kneel down, put pressure on my knee. I still fucking jump a mile if anyone goes near the screws/numb patch on it.

EDIT: Only just realised, I'm getting the other knee chopped open in a few months actually, so only two of the resolutions are achievable, aha.

I stopped for 2 months over summer but started again after doing two weeks worth of 14 hour daily shifts (bar weekends). Completley ruined it; don't think I'd ever smoke again if I got to 3

Well i would definately like to get some more extended cleantime in the new year.
Its not just talk i got 6 weeks completly drug free starting last november.and i mean 100% clean no drugs legal or illegal.i gave up the smokes too back in november.
I work mon to fri and had cut back my drug intake to strictly one day a week only stuck to it for most of 2012 which is a miracle considering my heavy polydrug use for the previous decade.

Gonna try to only smoke weed on weekends. Been trying to implement this every so often and I've failed, hopefully I can will myself to change with the new year :/

Yeah - even if it's in the evening the day after at work is not great :(. I used to be good, then work has got a bit stressful of late.
Would like to practice Astanga Yoga more consistently :)

Mine is to give up my job, smoke more cigs, take more drugs, become even more degenerate, and more horrible to all other"human beings"...,.

All apart from the first 1 is a joke of sorts. Ive decided that i hate my fuckin job, it only a wage that's not even very good that keeps me hanging on. Oh and the hot girl in HR with a great ass who appeared to be interseted in me at one point-----until i took her up on her offer to talk about any problems with her as she maybe able to help. That blew any chance i might have had clean out of the water. Anyway she's left too.

Ive also come up with a spade kind of idea - next years tax year has a £9,000 personal allowance, so for the low paid could work 8 or 9 months, and then at the end of their tax year get all their tax back - about £2000)

= you get a 3 months holliday to do with as you wish, without being much worse off than being a wage slave for 12 months . God im brilliant. I don't appear to be destined to scale the corporate ladder, so what have i got to loose by trying this. (it's essential this year anyway)

This occasion will give me the space i need to quit opis and benzos and then rebuild my mind and body. Attending counselling, meetings, various alternative therapies and group sessions. Then i can recover my fitness to be bombing up on down Snowdonia without getting out of breath, taking foreign holidays in the sun without shitting it through customs. All very self absorbed and self obsessed i guess, but i spose if you cant help yourself first then you arent going to be much use to others.

So this first break is for good reasons. I wouldn't like the others just to be for the sake of laziness; and they too should have some plan like do a 40 day tour of The Scottish Highlands or something.

I hate to burst your Spade-Plan, but you're wrong. It would only be a few hundred quid.

If it's 9k a year personal allowance, that's £750 a month tax free. Say you're earning a grand a month, you're only taxed on £250 of it at 20% = £50 tax paid per month.

Btw, not that I'm complaining about more tax free money or that but, why the fuck are they letting people earn £9000 before paying tax? (pensioners must be on mad cash tax free now if that's the standard amount). Surely that's a bad move when the treasury are skinto?

Hmm, you may well be right. I loved that plan too. Not that i doubt you CH, but i want to it written somewher, or spoken by some official, before my dream lays shattered on the wreckage of my life. Swoon.
