New year new me?!

Haven't posted in awhile but Ive been reading. Jus wanna congratulate everyone who has been doing good and doin their thing!

I still been doin my same thing... Couple days sober couple days not. I have been doin alil better I guess.
Anyway so yesterday I told myself that I wasn't gonna bring in the new year on pills... So last night I hit over 24hrs and ended up waking up in a lot of pain at 6 am and I took 2mg of sub. Today I'm off and jus taking it easy and still won't have any pills. Now tomorrow is pay day and I'm scared. I really want to start this new year sober. I want it and I've been trying for soo long. Im def running out of time before this blows up in my face

Basically I'm hoping that this whole "new year " thing will help motivate me to stay sober
anyone else starting the new year off sober ?

Yup, couple of weeks or so clean.

Personally for me the new year is irrelevant, but whatever keeps you clean!

wow that's great! I would do a song and a dance if I could jus get to a week. I dunno I really need to do this. In hoping tomorrow when I get paid, that I can convince myself to not go, not go waste money and jus take the sub. I wanna do a quick taper with it hopefully only lasting 4 or 5 days at the most. Then I have gabapentin, flexral, and alil Xanx I need to bring in 2015 strong !
