New Words mod: farewell Raz, hello colicolo!

I'll start with the bad news: unfortunately Raz has decided to hang up his moderating gloves. :( I'd like to thank him for his contribution to this forum, his enthusiasm, and his all round mad skills. =D Don't despair - he hopes to still post around these parts. I'll leave it up to him if he wants to elaborate on his reasons for stepping down.

With every ending comes a new beginning, and Raz, up all night and myself have decided to appoint colicolo as the new Words mod. Congratulations to him! :) We didn't want to go through an application process this time, because we felt it was important to install a new mod ASAP, and colicolo was pretty much an automatic choice, based on his contribution to Words over the past few months. I'm sure you'll agree he's deserving of the spot, and there's no doubt in my mind that he'll do a great job. :)

But that's not all for the departures and arrivals. TheLoveBandit is no longer our resident admin - he's handed the baton over to Finder. I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank TLB for all his help and support behind the scenes with the Words forum - he's always been there when we've needed him. :) And please give Finder a warm welcome!

Raz.... you and I go way back in this forum. Thanks for all the inspiration you've given me over the years. I truly mean that.

Colicolo- Congrats!! I know you'll do a great job! :)
 
Raz decided to hang up his gloves in SLR too, and believe me it's been hard to replace him!

You guys made an awesome choice with colicolo... genuine good bloke, very committed to the forum and unselfish in his praise for others.

Congrats buddy! Welcome to the mod madhouse. :)
 
thanks guys. its not possible to replace Raz, like most of us i will miss his regular input to words. i'll do my best to try and keep up his work...

to celebrate i've managed to blow up my hardrive *pop*, rebuild my computer then repair the harddrive whilst working for a russian rocket scientist- vodkas all round! :D

Congratulations dude! I am sure you will do an awesome job.. :D

I didn't get as much time to mod here as I would have liked ideally, but real life tends to jump up and wave its arms around sometimes until you pay attention. I will still definitely be around though when I am able, wild dogs with bees in their mouths couldn't keep me away from this place for too long! ;)
 
Congrats coli. :) You've always been such a caring and supportive contributor to this forum and I have no doubt you're going to do an excellent job!
 
Raz, you're adorable, and i will miss you - but im sure you'll stick around words... congrats to colicolo!
