Any time you see anything coming from the Government (doesn't matter which party is in charge) concerning "Mental Health" you can be sure it'll be a very bad thing in the long run.
I know some might be excited to see things like Iboga name dropped in this EO. But trust me on this; This will only lead to people getting labeled and having rights taken away in the name of "mental health" and "protecting the children" or the usual spiel they parrot every time they want to do something that's supposed to be highly illegal under the Constitution/Bill of Rights. IF they really cared they wouldn't be still fighting a "war on drugs", they wouldn't be letting the pharma companies run wild making massive profits and patenting substances that have been easy to synth for over 100 years (or found in nature). They wouldn't be locking up people for growing plants or making extracts and/or doing simple synths in their own homes. Just look at how everyone is so spooked on places like BL that you aren't even allowed to discuss some basic chemistry here despite the fact that we're supposed to have "free speech" in the western world. We can't even talk about basic synths that they used to teach grade schoolers in the 1950s. A children's toy from the 1950s is highly illegal these days all because someone might make something naughty with it. The police state we live in is terrible.
We've been seeing a lot of stuff about "mental health" in multiple nations over the past few months. Japan just passed a law that opened up the private health records (among other private records) for every citizen in their country. Then turned around and partnered with US-based AI companies to share all that data without the citizen's consent. Some news broke about that a few days back but I haven't had time to go through the new law yet or over all the information contained within. Reading Japanese legalese is much harder than reading American English legalese. So it's slow going and I'll have to learn probably 200 new Kanji just to make heads or tails of it. But the gist is they basically just revoked their citizen's right to privacy within their own country. This in a country where up until a month or two ago it was illegal to take someone's picture on a public street without their consent. Now, you can't walk down a street without 100 cameras everywhere scanning your face and sending all that data off to the new datacenters that are being built all over both our country and theirs.
We're seeing the groundwork laid for the most oppressive security state man has ever witnessed. It's going to be way worse than 1984, Brave New World and East Germany before the wall fell.
These EOs the presidents sign build on top of each other. Biden signed a bunch that Trump quietly extended. Biden signed a bunch that extended Trump's. Trump signed a bunch that extended Obama's and so on and so forth. They pretend to fight when in reality they're working hand-in-hand towards common goals. Presidential EOs aren't supposed to be legal in the first place. The Executive branch of the USA Government overstepped its limits a long long time ago. They were never supposed to be able to hand down edicts like they are dictators/kings. The "balance of power of the three houses of Government" in America died a long long time ago. Decades before any of us were born.
They do not get any fucks about your mental health, keeping you safe or protecting your children. Those are all buzz words and excuses to bring in a more oppressive security state and to take your rights away (the little you have left which amounts to almost none). They don't care what you voted for or what you think (well at least not beyond predicting your next move and finding out who you socialize with).
Mark my words: This will not end well. This ends with you getting flagged for being "mentally unwell" because you posted something on the internet somewhere (which will soon require you handing over your Government ID to access anything at all. Both at the ISP level and the OS level). Once you're flagged you'll hear the scariest thing a person can ever hear in their life: "We're from the Government and we're here to help". From there you can choose not to comply and get beaten by your friendly local police force (soon to be robocop) serving the warrant or doing a "welfare check". Then you get to enjoy being injected or forced to swallow some pharma drug to get you "stable" (dumbed down). After that comes your trip to fun (re-education) camp. Oh and of course if you happen to own any guns those are getting taken away from you until you're deemed sane. But most likely probably never returned at all. Once you're flagged as "mentally ill" they can't risk you having access to those again. Well that and once you're taking drugs you can't be trusted with firearms of course. Since what kind of sane person would want to own one in the first place? Only a tinfoil hat wearing nutjob would think they'd need to protect themselves and their family.
I hate to burst your bubbles but organizations like the DEA are never going away. These large drug companies are never going to allow people to grow/synth their own substances. The black market for drugs is never going away either. The Government is making too much money on all fronts (they're the ones producing the shit (pharma) and bringing it into the country (e.g. CIA selling crack to the inner city in the 1980s). They're the ones that love the so-called drug war because it gives them an excuse to keep organizations like the DEA, ATF, FBI, CIA and all the others in business. They love that black hole that all your tax money is vanishing into every day (the budgets for all these alphabet organizations and the contractors/employees working for them).
My advice would be to stock up on things you really like while you still can. If you want to Iboga/Ibogaine it's probably a good time to buy a lifetime supply if you can because it being mentioned by name in this EO really bothers me. I'm sure they'll be busting a lot of those underground clinics operating in-country soon and arresting people running them that actually want to help people get off the opioids they're addicted to right now. Drugs they're only addicted to because our own Government put that stuff in the streets with the help of their friends at the big pharma companies and the FDA. Not to mention all the heroin they brought in during the wars in the early 2000s-2010s when they had American troops guarding all those poppy fields in the middle east. Poppy fields that the "insurgents/terrorists" we were fighting had outlawed and burned any time they got control over their own territories again.
I hate to be a downer. But honestly, you shouldn't trust anything coming out of the Government or Trump's EOs and mouth. Just like you shouldn't have trusted Biden, Obama, Bush Jr., Clinton, Bush Sr. (former CIA director), Regan and all of the others that have been president since I've been walking the planet. Never mind all the other horrible people in Congress that been allowing this stuff to go on for years. Or the so-called "intelligence community".
I do hope I'm wrong. But I know I'm not.
