Have poked in from time to time through out the years via a google search, and I appreciate the honest tone so a member I became! Anyway ... pills are my thing, have been for 25+ years , and I have to tell you that stings like a sob to type that out! Life's a mess, I'm waaay to old for this and as I have seldom shared my use with anyone it makes it hard for getting any feedback etc., so hopefully I can slide my way in, drop a post here and there, get a feel for the place and journey on! Thanks for having this place, I promise to leave it as found ~

also, added meth to the mix little over a year ago, and that's a whole other avenue, but at first I didn't need any pills cause I had no pain!! live and learn ...

Since I plan on being 'active', any questions, suggestions etc would be appreciated!!

Thanks!

The BL "welcome wagon" is a lovely bunch. Aloha, Anna. Welcome to BL. I am also a newbie to BL, and I, too, am a little bit older than most of the posters. I love the information I get here. And most of the people seem to be honest and supportive.

Thanks Evey for the welcome and I'll certainly call on you in the future, i appreciate the offer!

I maybe at that, who knows?! Very much appreciate your welcome .. so I say Thanks from N.W. WA (from one tip of the us to the other)

Aloha ! thanks for your note, it's sometimes hard being a newbie and being older so 'tis nice to have company along for the ride~

...i'm thinking i should get 10 before i have to worry about getting yelled at!
i'm not a patient women so learning the ropes of how to reply, etc., isn't pretty.

if i messed up by replying to each response to me ... whoops!!
:!

if i didn't ... woohoo!!

Being older posters means you likely have a wealth of experience & advice to share with us younger posters! I am interested in what you have been through and learned over the years through your struggles.

It is often suggested that you try n make one post but I don't think you've 'messed up' lol. I made that mistake when I first came here n a moderator politely explained that's it's best to put your post in one as opposed to double post. They then merged my post n all was good.

Don 't worry about "messing up" (although perhaps you were having a joke ?) we all do at times it's how we learn. Please read the rules known as BLUA n the rules for each sub-forum (there isn't that many, honest) n you'll be fine.

All the best,
Evey xxxx

Love the name. btw ... and agree that with age comes experience and if you pay attention sometimes wisdom slips in curls up around you and stays. Been through a lot 'wo' (just my personal nickname for you) if you where to narrow it down i honestly would be happy to share. Is it for personal use or are you in a job where you find if you can understand or be able to q&a someone without any bullshit you would use that to help others. lmk ...

***FIRST, I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE
looking at the screen i honestly thought all my replies had gone to the people who wrote orginally, so i'm sorry.

i didn't mean to sound like such a smart ass in my reply below, i will do better!!! all this above the chicken feet i came back and added.
======================================================================================================================
while i read rules, i don't follow them to well, i tend to jump in see how it's going and if all seems fine yeah!!! if not, well then it's a classic A.F.U.
anna fuck up

I went below each post that was a 'welcome' to me, as yours, hit the reply and typed away. each was specific to the person and as they continued to be stacked up, i went nusty crazy and typed 'one covers all'
in the end, all is well!

when i try to find an answer to something like : how to reply to your messages >>>>>
and i don't get a step 1, 2, 3 answer i'm outta here!! lol

i learned computers using dos, screen was black and green, only.
you should see me with my 'smarty-pant s phone' such a geek ...

see ya evey

Why thank you :D Yes experience is the only teacher. I'm only asking for myself, not a job -currently unemployed unfortunately. I recently joined this site to have drug discussions with real people since most of those around me don't want to hear it. I like reading personal experiences because wisdom gained over the years can be priceless. You mentioned doing meth only recently, was it to deal with your history with pills? I'd consider myself a drug user who has been through some periods of withrawal but not an addict now. I acknowledge I'm not immortal and hope to never fall too far off the wagon with drugs. I've already been screwing up a lot of everyday things due to mental health/motivation issues, one reason I try to get by on opiates, benzodiazepines, etc..

Thanks for the welcome Comfort, I'm from Washington State ... no clue what or where cyrodiil is ~

Hi wo ...

I was off the pills, not by choice but honestly i ended up homeless - still can't believe that - anyway meet a gal (my age) in a womens shelter and she also had come from a fairly well off family etc., she was an addict , did pills also but man, oh man .. i can see her face in my mind and it's scary! i was 'with' her and her bf little over a month. he got his ssi check and she got monies from a trust fund, then off to rent a motel room and get high. i'd never seen anything like it nor had any idea. i can tell you that i've yet to recover financially, (and doubt i will but i've got a roof over my head) i used to travel, and if i ever do again ... think i would stay in the car vs in the room! sad, actually. smoked it cause it was there, and it did numb me! still do for the same reason.

not clear about where you are at ... not an addict but you talk about the wagon, using opiates to get you through life ...

anything you abuse .. pills, booze, men, money, anything that you go to the extreme with is a problem. everyone's got there own slant on this, and i'm just another, but my wish for you, especially at your age, do whatever you have to (no bullshit), and get off them. your life is over basically if you don't. my two cents worth.

I also used to drop in every once in a while for the valuable information Bluelight has to offer, lol. I'm down in NW Ohio, where nothing really happens. We have corn. Anyways, welcome to BL!
