I am new and am currently needing to build an understanding of how opiates and suboxone works......ie what is a "half-life"? stuff like that. Well I hope everyone is feeling ok.

Half Life is how long it takes for your body to process half of a given drug dosage you ingest.

Let's say the half life of heroin is 8 hours (I don't know the actual number off the top of my head). This means, in 8 hours, half of your heroin dosage will be metabolized.
