Hello all!

I would first like to clear up something to make sure I'm on the right path towards rules, guidelines and on track to being a consistent and contributing member and hopefully given a chance to stay based on my over elapsed time as a green lighter.

I originally signed up to this forum back in 2012 in hopes to ask questions, inform and help others. I have been a member since 2012 but to be honest inactive until now. (I understand this is unacceptable) The reason for this was due to the situation I was in at the time I jumped the gun thinking I'd be a valuable member due to where and what was happening to me at the time but I was clearly unable to present anything valuable or help. But I have been daily absorbing information and knowledge from the community to be able to confidently give back, I hope this is understood.

And as my goal to be a great asset and contributing member here's a little about me. I will try to be short yet descriptive.

I am Toronto born and raised. living life beautifully. 2 years back (May 2012) was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (IBD) which was a more serious case then average, hospitalizing me for just over a month and a half, introducing me as well as opened the doors to opiates and my love for them. Been using since then (RX'd). Also diagnosed with A.D.D since a kid, but 4 years ago decided to be medicated. Its more of just a minor focusing disorder, some may just call it laziness. Either way the medication route helped tremendously. Currently taking Vyvanse daily but often switch it up to Dexedrine spansules or Adderall from time to time (all RX'd).

Years of lurking the forum and being educated from the community, I feel confident to inform, educate and share my experiences in hopes to help anyone In need that shares similar interests just like this forum has done for me in the past years.

I'm very open, geniuenly enjoy sharing experiences and lessons learned along my journey and naturally love to converse as well as learn. Feel free to ask me anything (in bounds to forum rules ) and at the same time hope to be a great asset and member to expand the knowledge, information and growth of this forum.

Cheers

Hiya qwertyface,

There's nothing wrong with taking a break from Bluelight - lots of people do it for lots of different reasons, and as far as I'm aware 'tis not against the rules :)
'Tis ace that you are back with us though. Thanks for introducing yourself to us that's ace. I'm a fellow member and you're more than welcome to PM me or add me as a friend here if you would like a friend.

I am sorry that you have had health issues and wish that things get better for you in the future. I understand issues with opiates. I'm now on suboxone, so if ever you need someone to vent to or whatever, you're more than welcome to vent to me lol.

As you were asking for clarification of the rules, I would also advise you to read the Greenlighter's Guide and the rules known as BLUA (Bluelight User Agreement) because they protect us members as well as the site. For instance; one of the rules is no sourcing, if a member had not read the rules and discusses sourcing, then they may receive a warning or whatever, and if they had have read the rules, they would have avoided receiving, eg a warning. I re-read them the other week and it was so surprising how much stuff I had forgotten or may not have read when I originally joined. With so much information it is so easy to bypass a lot of stuff. But the Greenlighter is a VERY USEFUL piece of writing, in my personal onion. They've added a few light-hearted jokes in it which gave me a chuckle (or is that my strange sense of humour? lol)

Bluelight has a kind of befriending / mentor programme here known as Adoption Programme . What happens is, if someone would like to become "adopted" they comment on the thread, expressing an interest to be adopted. Then you can either look at the list of people offering to adopt and request one of them adopts you or wait for someone to offer to adopt you. I'm on the list of people wishing to adopt new members and am always more than happy to do this :)

Enjoy
Evey :)
