New to SSRI + MDMA... Sanity needed.

Hi guys.

Since 30/3/12 I've been taking 20mg Citalopram for anxiety. The root cause of this is probably my behavior when drunk, depression and embarrassment abound the next day.

OK. In early June I intend to take MDMA. I am aware from a little research that SSRIs inhibit the function of MDMA.

SO.

I need advice on how to roll with full/nearly full effect for early June. I DO NOT want people to tell me it's a bad idea. Believe me, a worse idea is for me to be with all my friends drunk/twisted and I can do neither. Yes, maybe not taking my SSRI will make me temporarily mentally more down, but seeing all my best friends having an awesome time and me having no kind of buzz and being unbelievably jealous will have MUCH longer lasting mental effects. Please trust me on this.

And please don't tell me to have a good time sober, we're all adults and we all know how much that sucks when you're surrounded by people on some kind of high.

Really appreciate any advice. Preferably on how to ween off citalopram in time to roll and for retaking it. How many days before? Half a pill for a while before? Whatever.

you will probably want to taper down over a week or two, then have nothing for a week, take piracetam and follow sam's e diet, but it may still be very disappointing. i am speaking from experience, but i am only on 10mg escitalopram.

there are other drugs that are not affected, or not as much by ssri's you know, speed, 2cb, LSD...
