Hello bluelighters, I just recently had come to the knowledge of research chemicals and chemical "drugs". I have tried tcb2 and a mdma rc which I don't know what it was except for the fact they were called amber rods? anyways I was just wondering what the purpose of rc's hold. Are they just flashy drugs made for entertainment benefits or do they possess actual psychedelic capabilities? I have tried psilocybin and I absolutely love it. The most I have taken was half an 1/8th and that was pretty nice. I have been wanting to trip more and learning about all these rc's intrigued me. I have also been wanting to experiment with PURE legitimate Lysergic Acid Diethylamine -25 that hoffman created. Are there rc's out there can replicate hoffmans lsd? If so, what is it?

OP- Are RC's health and brain safe? - forgot to mention this

I doubt you will find anything that will fully replicate real LSD.

It is a one off special/magical drug.

Yet have respect for it, as it can take to places you may never wish had visited.

Damn. <snip> I am also very young, only 18. My time to start a college and life career is here to, I have been thinking of becoming a organic chemist. I am extremely determined on this.

Hello and welcome to Bluelight. Actually we know nothing about the safety and dangerousness, short term or long term, of any of these RCs. They haven't been studied by any scientific research (bar maybe one or two), so they're not like the drugs we or our parents use(d) to take and that have been well known for a long time now, like LSD or cannabis.

Are RCs brain and health safe? Certainly not, and some can be much more dangerous than others, but which ones for sure? We don't know.

Are they worth of any interest? Maybe, it's up to you. But after having tried quite a few, I'd say they're definitely not worth the risks that could arise in the short or long terms. Be careful, stay safe.

edit: and you're only 18? Please stay away from RCs, your brain is still not fully developped, they're a recipe for disaster.

RC's are just a broad term used for all the substances that haven't been fully tested and regulated by the FDA. Most of them are either unpleasant, extremely addicting, or very dangerous. None of them will feel like LSD.

If you decide to experiment with RCs, Research them. Extensively. Read about the best experiences, but also make sure you read about the worst experiences. Don't start out with a huge dose, always use a scale. Respect whatever it is that you're going to try. Ask people that have taken whatever you want to try what it was like. Some RC experiences can be incredibly rewarding and other RCs are just gonna strip you of everything you are and everything you have.

I loved the 2c-x's. Some of the most beautiful (drug) experiences of my life were due to these psychedelics. However, Phenazepam, a benzo RC, had me blacked out and making horrible decisions that I paid dearly for. Read about it, you'll find plenty of horror stories. And my experience was a walk in the park in comparison. MDPV is another one lately that had widely gotten a bad rep. All in all, it's horrible for your health. It's incredibly addictive if you like stimulants at all. And it is horrible to come down off of. But if you follow the advice of people that have learned the hard way, you might actually be able to enjoy it. Or whatever it is that you're looking to experience.

I agree, no RC will ever feel like LSD -25. It would be interesting if the LADs became available as RCs but I don't think that's possible due to analog laws.

Oh yeah, and one more thing: if you try an RC that you decide you like and would like to do someday in the future, buy a large amount before it becomes illegal! Because it will. All RCs that are enjoyed by anyone are eventually covered by the law.

Research Chemicals are an extremely broad class of drugs, if you want information, you'll have to be more specific. If you're looking into psychedelics, I recommend researching the PIHKAL and TIHKAL drugs first.

I have had LSD-esque experiences with several RC drugs, including AMT and 2C-D (2C-D, for me, has every bit as much depth and worth as LSD or mescaline). However, you're sort of missing the point; if you want an LSD experience, then take LSD. Explore the other chemicals not as ersatz acid, but as the distinct drugs worthwhile in their own right that they are. If you want beef and buy lamb, you are bound to be disappointed, but that doesn't mean that lamb isn't delicious.

^This^. The NBOMes have been touted as LSD replacements, to the point some dealers are allegedly passing them off as acid. In my ( very limited ) experience they are in no way LSD replacements. At least the 25I and 25B NBOMes aren't. They may produce similar visuals, similar music enhancement, similar body high and euphoria but they are lacking the depth of LSD, and the profound, novel thinking. In short the headspace is all wrong. That may be an issue for you OP or not if you've yet to experience the headspace of LSD anyways. They're probably a good place to start in fact if you've not had LSD yet and want a more recreational, easily managed experience as far as further exploration is concerned with psychedelics in this class. They have their own merits.

As for are RCs safe? No one can truly say. They do not have a long enough history of use for potential downsides to have come to light as yet. In that respect LSD, MDMA, the 'classic' psychedelics may be a safer bet. Research well, I would suggest Bluelight is an excellent place to do that ( ;) ) then choose.
