Cocaine new to opiates, problems.

hi all.

i lost opiate virginity buying and snorting it yesterday. i bought 2 grams and snorted aroung 0.5g feeling next to nothing. same today. where's the rush?

then i tried tonight to IV some with some mistakes(only online guide to help) but still got some in and felt nothing.

i'm currently medicated for depression with: anafranil 150, lithium 400, depakine chrono 500 and seroquel300 to sleep. will this affect opiates?

pretty sure coke is good, i feel my tongue sedated when i put on it and its spicy
 
omg. what are you doing? fuckin quit while you're ahead. i was a virgin in the spring. since then i lost my kids, my job, all my money and very nearly my freedom.
i have $20,000 in new debt since then and an appointment every tuesday for court ordered group counseling. all this joy in just the last few months. shit i wish i'd never tried...
am i outta line here? all in the name of harm reduction. lookat my screen name. fugazi is slang for fucked up situation.
 
QUESTION!!! What kind of opiate are you doing? Coke is short for COCAINE. That is NOT an opiate. I'm assuming your talking about heroin cause you said you bought 2 grams. Your tongue feels sedated? I don't understand that either. How can your tongue feel sedated? And it taste spicy? Heroin is not spicy either, and no opiate that I've ever tasted (which is almost all of them) is "spicy"

You bought fake shit. If an opiate naive person snorted a half gram of h they'd probably be dead. Sorry boomhs. That's my opinion. And here's a hint, darling- please don't do that much h when you finally get the real shit. You don't need that much unless you want to die.You should just start out with a little bump and see how that makes you feel. You'll probably puke your guts out.

And DO NOT start injecting drugs. I'm a serious iv drug user. Probably more addicted to the needle than ANY drug. Its not worth it. Its a monster that will eat you alive. And I'm not exaggerating, that's the honest-to-god-truth!!

As far as I know those medications shouldn't affect the opiate, but I'm not a doctor so don't quote me, dear. Good luck and please be careful.

^^ A little harsh don't you think... He was just trying to convince the guy to quit while he's ahead, which is very much harm reduction, which is the reason Bluelight exists if you'd forgotten. It's not like he started a new thread in OD to bitch and moan... Of course his warning will be ignored, but its always worth the shot.


And OP, yeah, coke is no where near an opiate. PLEASE for the love of god don't start IVing. Clearly you are WAY to inexperienced with drugs in general and should not be attempting this, and sure as hell shouldn't be attempting it on your own.
 
Cocaine is not an opiate its a stimulant kind of the opposite. and if your snortin that much and not feelin it its prob stepped on dude

btw cocaine is not spicy either. It will make your tongue numb. But so will *other* non-drug substances. I still maintain you bought fake shit. Otherwise you'd feel some energy, and you may have racing thoughts. Maybe a boner, hell I don't know lol. kidding... (snorting) as for injecting a half a gram, inexperienced, you may have a friggin heart attack. Now, you can get away with snorting half a gram of cocaine, but you don't need that much either. A gram should yield about 6 lines for someone who doesn't do it much.

Spend it on Christmas gifts, or even a bag of weed. I think you'd like marijuana.

I wouldnt even try to get anymore for new years. dont get into this world. its not somewhere you want to be. Ive gone through the whole arrest and court ordered classes as well. and now i got kicked out of college. you do not want to get started in this. but if you so choose. make sure you know what it is that youre taking..... please
 
Yeah, exactly. Cocaine isn't an opiate, its not spicy, and you can't describe what it tastes like over an Internet forum.

Also, just because something sold as cocaine makes your tongue/face/dick numb doesn't mean its cocaine either, it could be any number of CNS-inactive local anesthetics used to cut cocaine (benzocaine, procaine [aka Novocaine], lidocaine, etc).

I don't think you're out of line here, but please try to be considerate. A lot of us end up trying heroin for one reason or another. Only about 15-25% of people (approximately, this figure may be higher or lower) become dependent/addicted.

There are even good reasons why people use heroin in the first place (like, not to get high, or because they think it could be "cool" to try out, but rather because of a psychological issue, or pain management), and despite many people's failure to believe that such people exist, there are functional addicts, and even functional people who just dabble and don't use it daily.

Then again, as much as your story would deter most people, if I hadn't already been through heroin addiction (I have, and, no thank you, I cannot go through that again) then I would wonder what's so good as to lose all these things in life directly or indirectly due to it. I have seen movies that attempt to depict heroin addiction (some get closer to it than others but I don't think any movies I have seen really nail it on the head), and it would certainly make it seem interesting to try hearing all of this, and the other things people on Bluelight have said about it.

That's probably due to a sizable tolerance you have, or you are getting somewhat cut (but not horribly cut) cocaine.
 
^^ It's not tolerance he said it was his first time... It's just shitty product and he should NOTNOTNOT be IVing it.
