Opioids New to OP 80s

Thanks for hanging aorund T Calderone, yes my relative arrived earlier but she is asleep already. Shes on some sleep meds too that would probably make it hard for her to check on me.

Is the fact that my pupils are still a bit small an indicator that the extended release is still occuring? Its coming up on 6 hours. I felt good throughout this ordeal though honestly, being worried about ODing and fighting the nods (versus embracing them) has put a damper on the experience. I wish I had taken half or even less, but too late for that.

If it's been 6 hours, the peak effects are over. You'll be fine. Especially if it's an OP80, the time release on those is fucking indestructible*. The rule of thumb is it's like a half-dosage 2x the duration oxycodone pill. So an OP80 is like taking 40mg of oxy at once that lasts twice as long.

It's certainly enough to make you sick, but probably won't kill you. If your breathing is normal and not super slow/shallow, and you're not on anything else depressant-like, you'll be fine to sleep. Especially if you're feeling good. An overdose for a naive person is very ... intensely unenjoyable.

However, you puked most of it up. So probably not all of it was absorbed. Relax and try to enjoy the rest of your night I guess.

* need to process the pills for 24h+, you can't just smash them to shreds - a smashed up OP80 retains its time release

Yeah your pupils will be small but your real indicator is how you're feeling. I'm paranoid because many years ago as you I was opiate naïve and took oxycontin and made me real sick. I think you will be okay, just hang in there! And be careful next time. :)
