Harm Reduction New to IV use.

I've recently started IVing (crystal and anhydrous methamphetamine) more often, and have deep veins (it's often difficult to register even with half inch points). I've hit and popped out a couple times, so I have a couple of bruises. I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to make them heal quicker. One person told me hemorrhoid cream would help, but not sure what to think of that. Also, I might try some BTH soon, and was wondering what exactly was the proper way of breaking it down or any advice on the substance period. If I could get any advice on these topics, it would be greatly appreciated.
 
Take a trip to our IV mega thread. A simple search of this forum and you will find what you're looking for.

Bruises are bruises, nothing I know of that will make them go away. Get a damn good tan so people can't see them!

As far at BTH goes, its great, its lovely, its a warm blanket with a teddy bear in your arms. To state the obvious, be careful its dangerous. I reccomend 50mg for a first shot and remember to always smoke a little before you shoot. Learning the subtleties of good tar and bad takes time.

I used for 3+ years, 3-who knows how many shots a day and my veins are fine. Rotating injection sites is key.

Use proper IV tech, get dope from a trusted source, and use the buddy system. Any specific questions? If not I reccomend searching blue light, there is an encyclopedia of knowledge here.
 
You should do spot rotation which means not injecting at the same point that often and you should keep the number of injections you do at a point were it is still possible to care for your veins and do drugs. keep in mind that you only have these veins and you wont get new ones!

To make them heal quicker i personally used Heparim & hirudoid (so called in germany).

/Edit: And just dont forget to always work in a clean enviroment.

I was looking up some facts about Heparim and it seems as if it has almost no effect if applied transdermal. If anyone finds something different it would be great if you could post it as a reply.
 
I know that normally I'll take 150+mg of hydrocodone/morphine IR and it won't get me high, so would a half point shot really be enough?

No probably not, but no one here can reccomend a dose higher than that and claim to have harm reduction in mind. 50mg shot then titrate up as needed, use your best judgement. IV heroin kills. You won't have a 30 minute window to call an ambulance. Once its in your vein its in.

Seeing as how you already have a sizeable habit, read around, knowledge is safety.
 
The best advice I can give you is to not inject BTH, nor methamphetamine. But do what you'll do.

If you don't have good veins to begin with, that's an even better reason not to get into BTH because it has the tendency to be bad on the veins when used on the regular.
 
Hate,Hate,,,yes strong word .......to see ANYONE going the IV route.
 
I'd stop using methamphetamine IV immediately. It's your life on the line, and methamphetamine is a terribly addictive drug, and IVing it will no doubt be even more problematic.

I forgot to say that it obviously would be the best idea to stop using h and crystal immediately. Both substances will just ruin your life and I.v. use will fasten up this process more than you can imagine. Just a friendly advise, you got to knew what is best for you on your own.
 
for black tar you take a piece and put it in a "cooker" or spoon add enough water to completely cover it and stir the tar with the cap of your syringe until it's a brown liquid
