New to Bluelight

Hello all.

I am new to Bluelight as of today.

I am one of the few who is not here to condone the use of recreational drugs - because I would like to STOP using all together.

The drugs I have used are as followed;

• Marijuana: The drug I had the majority of issues with. When I quit using, I suffered dreadful withdrawls. I was sober for 1 1/2 years until I broke and smoked again 3 months ago and again about 2 weeks ago.
• Alcohol: I have never really "Abused" alcohol per-say. However, I have used alcohol in a way that should not be used - as an antidepressant or mood enhancer - which we all know does not go over that well when tried that way.
• Opiates/Opioids: PURE HELL, only a user for about 4 months or more give or take. I have gone as far as stealing to get a "high" from these amazing little things.
• Benzodiazepenes - I was prescribed Clonazepam 1mg when I was only 10 years old and suffered addiction for 10 years until I was 20. I never was addicted until I was about 19 when I started to snort them and take about 8 at a time to obtain a "high".

I would appreciate if some of you all may be able to direct me into a forum that offers support for drug addicts who wish to end their addiction to drugs. Replies to this thread would be greatly appreciated and I am sure some of you wish for a change in topics on forums. I am one who wishes to end their addiction to drugs - not gloat about how high I got - or how I wish to get!

Welcome! It sounds like The Dark Side is just the place you're looking for. You'll find a lot of people there that have the same feelings as you regarding drugs and want to quit. TDS regulars will offer you support and wise words. It really is a fantastic forum with some amazing people.
