Hiya Smoky,
I'm awful sorry. I thought I had replied to your post, maybe I did and forget to press send.
Smoky you're doing fine with your posting. Don't worry about it. When on a forum like this you can reply to all in the same post and people won't think you are rude or anything. Honestly you're doing fine. you don't need to try again. I didn't mean to make you feel bad about anything and I'm extremely sorry if I did. I'm starting to understand now why the mods pull me up with some things, I have a habit of trying to explain something and it comes across the wrong way. Honestly, you're fine with your posting on here and you seem a pleasant person.
Anyway, can I ask what you mean by "the rooms?" Do you mean NA/AA meetings? Sorry if I have this wrong, but you don't have to stop doing NA/AA because you've come to BL. A lot of people do both simultaneously with no problems at all. Of course, I'm not, and would not, try and tell you what to do. I'm just making the suggestion that is something isn't broken why try and fix it? You wanting a harm reduction approach also, is very good - and why Bluelight is here. This site has saved many lives and helped people in MANY DIFFERENT WAYS! Not always just drug-related it has helped people, for instance I have anger issues - not in a violent way, I don't go punching walls or people or anything like that, just that I've anger inside of me which makes me "verbalise" in not such a nice way - I can lash out and say extremely nasty stuff that can't be taken back - BL has helped me deal with that, I'm not half that person as I was before I came here I am learning to control it. Anyway enough about me, I just wanted to illustrate an example of how BL has also helped people in non-drug related way as well as with drugs.
Take care,
Evey
